'This is the first time I can honestly say I’m not attracted to you whatsoever,' Angelina Jolie reportedly told Brad Pitt

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: It's not a great mystery that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's films have had a big impact on them right from when their relationship started. In fact, Jolie initially worked with Pitt in the 2005 spy thriller 'Mr. & Mrs. Smith', and the ex-couple were apparently open about their affection for one another.

"Brad was a huge surprise to me," Jolie told Vogue in 2007, adding, "I, like most people, had a very distant impression of him from . . . the media. I am just as guilty! Because of the film we ended up being brought together to do all these crazy things, and I think we found this strange friendship and partnership that kind of just suddenly happened." Jolie once discussed how she stopped feeling attracted to her ex-husband when he played the role of a gym trainer in the black comedy 'Burn After Reading'.

Angelina Jolie was put off by Brad Pitt

Pitt and Frances McDormand played the leads in the Coen brothers' 2008 film, 'Burn After Reading'. Pitt played eccentric gym trainer Chad Feldheimer, who unintentionally discovers secret CIA material.

While his new role enthralled Jolie, she was turned off by his in-character appearance, though. "Angie was really intrigued by Chad. She hasn’t seen it yet. But she saw me in the gym gear and said, 'This is the first time I can honestly say I’m not attracted to you whatsoever,'" Pitt told to Rolling Stone, adding, "She brings him up a lot. She doesn’t see a lot movies, and she keeps bringing this one up. She’s really curious about Chad Feldheimer."

The movie made over $163M worldwide against its $37M budget and received nominations for both the Golden Globes and British Academy Film Awards. Pitt considered Chad "one of the most memorable roles" of his career, as per reports.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's fight over winery

Jolie and Pitt had a messy divorce that was finalized in 2019, when the court declared them both legally single. However, their conflict over who would raise their six children continued.

According to reports, the ex-couple were warring over the Chateau Miraval winery. Pitt sued Jolie in February 2022, alleging that she had fraudulently transferred her stake in Miraval, a French business that owns a chateau and vineyard that the former couple jointly owned in the south of France.
