LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Internet sensation Lil Tay has once again sparked controversy, this time by alleging that her father Christopher Hope swatted her house in an attempt to cover up what she describes as his "abusive" behavior.

This latest accusation comes shortly after a series of unsettling claims made by the social media star, including her accusation that her father was behind a viral hoax that led many to believe she and her brother were dead.

Lil Tay sparks new controversy

Tay claimed that her father swatted her house on October 4. In a video, she referred to her father as a "f*cking psycho" and accused him of orchestrating the swatting incident to silence her and conceal his alleged "abusive" behavior.

Tay stated, "My abusive father swatted me to prevent me from continuing to expose his racism, misogyny, sexually abusive behavior, and domestic violence." She further asserted, “You cannot f*cking stop me,” adding, “You cannot f*cking silence me. This is not just for myself, but for all girls and women.”

Lil Tay's rise to stardom

Tay rose to fame in the late 2010s for flaunting extravagant wealth and boasting about her supposed affluence in viral online videos. However, she vanished from the public eye amid a highly publicized custody battle between her parents.

She resurfaced years later after an Instagram post on her page falsely claimed that both she and her half-brother had died. Tay later clarified that this post was a hoax and that both of them were alive and well.

In September 2023, Tay posted a shocking accusation on her Instagram account, alleging that her father was the mastermind behind the viral hoax. Shortly after, Tay released her first single in years and later went live on Instagram, where she claimed her father had subjected her to abuse.

Internet slams Lil Tay: 'Clearly clout farming'

Internet users criticized Tay and alleged she was orchestrating a publicity stunt. A user stated, "She just trying to stay relevant, stop giving her clout."

Another added, "HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLY SHIT I DON'T CARE." A third claimed, "Anything for clout I guess." Someone else tweeted, "This sounds like some drama."

"Lil tay storyline goes crazy," read a tweet. "Someone needs to tell little Tay to chill," a user asserted. "They all cap trashy stuff online," read another comment. A user claimed, "This is clearly just clout farming."
