LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Britney Spears, in her upcoming memoir 'The Woman in Me', has addressed her strained relationship with her younger sister Jamie Lynn Spears who she called a “total b***h” when she was 11 years old.

The pop star, who recently freed herself from a 13-year conservatorship and divorced Sam Asghari, wrote that she felt “betrayed” by how Jamie Lynn had “changed” and “ruled” their home after their parents’ divorce in 2002 Us Weekly reports.

Britney Spears said she didn't deserve what her family did to her

She has also accused her family of doing nothing to help her and has previously said she wanted to sue them for what they did to her.

“I became more of an entity than a person onstage,” Britney wrote, adding “I had always felt music in my bones and my blood; they stole that from me.”

She added that the conservatorship “stripped me of my womanhood” and “made me into a child" and that she "didn't deserve" what her family did to her.

She wrote, “The woman in me was pushed down for a long time," adding, "They wanted me to be wild onstage … and to be a robot the rest of the time.”

Jamie Lynn works as an actress and singer

Jamie Lynn, who is now 32 and has a career as an actress and singer has denied that she was unsupportive of Britney and said she loved her sister.

She also asked people to stop inserting themselves into their situation and egging it on.

“There’s two separate things here — there’s the relationship I have with me and my sister, and there’s this other part where I have the right to defend my name and defend my family to protect my family,” Jamie Lynn said on the 'Call Her Daddy' podcast in January 2022.

“And then the separate side is that this is my sister who I know and I love, and when every headline’s gone away and everything else is done, I’m still gonna be her sister. It doesn’t matter,” she said.

Britney Spears on suing her family

Britney has not been shy about sharing her family issues which worsened when her father Jamie, 71, became her legal guardian in 2008.

She even publicly criticized Jamie Lynn and Jamie during her June 2021 court appearance case about her guardianship.

“I would honestly like to sue my family, to be totally honest with you. I also would like to be able to share my story with the world, and what they did to me, instead of it being a hush-hush secret to benefit all of them,” Britney said at the time, adding that her family members didn’t do “a goddamn thing” to help her.

'The Woman in Me' is set to be released on Tuesday, October 24.
