DALLAS, TEXAS: Chuck Norris has expressed his love and respect for his mother recently as Wilma Norris Knight turned 102. The actor shared an article link on his Facebook page and wrote, “WOW! I can hardly believe it. My mother, Wilma Norris Knight, is 102 years young this week, on May 4. She was born in 1921. What's even more remarkable is that she is so full of life that she might make it another 100 years!”
He added, “With my mom's birthday at one end of this week, and Mother's Day coming up the following week, I am overwhelmed with gratitude to God for three women's influence in my life. I wouldn't be the man I am without them.” He revealed in his article who those women are – “They are my Granny Scarberry (my mom's mom), my wife, Gena, and of course my praying mom.”

‘God bless you and your family’
The social media share received many wishes as a user commented, “My Dad’s birthday was on May 4, 1924. Even though he is no longer with us passing in February of 2018, I always remember him for his love and dedication to his family. A hard-working man that was loved by many. Fifty-one years at FLETC in Brunswick, Ga, and part-time at Sears and Roebuck for 35 years. Happy birthday to your mom Chuck. God bless you and your family.”
Another user noted, “I brought her sweet book at a used book store. So nice; It has a handwritten message from your mom to the original owner of the book, which makes it very special to me. I wish your young-at-heart mother a very happy birthday! God bless you both!” The third user wrote, “Happy birthday sweet lady. You are so blessed to have a mother so wonderful and loving. Cherish every moment and continue making memories together. God bless you both.”

You are so blessed to have her as your Mom. One of my earliest memories is climbing onto her lap as a little tiny child and always getting a big kiss when she was visiting Arizona and her sisters.
“She always wore beautiful lipstick and when I got those kisses, I felt so pretty wearing a little bit of her lipstick that would rub off on me. When I saw her at her beautiful sister's service in Arizona several years ago, she hugged me and kissed me she told me she had the same memory too. We promised each other to never forget the kisses. ‘She has prayed for me all my life’
This comes as earlier the martial artist had explained the struggles his mother faced while taking care of her three children alone. He reportedly shared, “Mom has been an example of perseverance and faith. [She] has prayed for me all my life, through thick and thin,” before adding, “When nearly losing my soul to Hollywood, she was back home praying for my success and salvation. I thank [my mom] for helping God to make me all I can and should be.”
In 2012, Wilma gave an interview on FOX News show 'Huckabee', where she called Chuck her defender because he supported her strongly when his father left them. As per reports, the ‘Missing in Action’ star’s mother did night shifts to raise her family while Chuck looked after his siblings at home.
