‘The Greatest Party Ever’ is touted to be full of highlights and performances from Clive Davis' grand five decades old pre-grammy celebration

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Clive Davis is onto his next project! The legendary musician is working on a new documentary, as per latest reports. He released a 12-minute trailer of the documentary which has been named ‘The Greatest Party Ever’ for the time being. It has been debuted for guests at his annual Memorial Day weekend soiree at his Pound Ridge, New York, property over the weekend.

As per PageSix, this is also Davis’ pre-Grammy gala and is being produced by Jesse Collins and directed by Rob Ford. The 91-year-old released his last documentary 'The Soundtrack of Our Lives’ at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2017 and was engaged in numerous collaborations and musical creations. ‘The Greatest Party Ever’ is touted to be full of highlights and performances from his grand five decades old pre-grammy celebration. The clip has Whitney Houston in the trailer as she was planning to attend Davis’ pre-Grammy party in 2012. However, her body was found in a bathtub, just a few hours before the actual event began.

'Several guests shed tears'

“[An] extraordinary with several guests shedding tears,” described a source who was among the audience at Davis’ private theater and watched the documentary in Houston. As per reports, the legend had over 90 guests at his home with the list including his longtime pal Nikki Haskell, Valerie Simpson, Ann and Andrew Tisch, the Polo Bar’s Nelly Moudime, Candy Spelling, and Gloria and Emilio Estefan.

Davis has bagged five Grammy Awards and is part of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a non-performer, inducted in 2000. He was also the president of Columbia Records from 1967 to 1973. Moreover, the 2023 Pre-Grammy Gala was hosted with full of Hollywood stars, comprising a performance by Lizzo and Jennifer Hudson doing Houston’s 'The Greatest Love of All.'
