NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE: Jimmie Allen has been officially dropped by his record label, BBR, amid the at least two sexual assault lawsuits filed against the country singer. “BBR Music Group has dissolved its relationship with Jimmie Allen. He is no longer an active artist on its roster,” the record label in a statement to Entertainment Tonight. BBR, the record label which also represents artists like Chase Rice, Jason Aldean, Lainey Wilson and Jelly Roll no longer lists Allen’s name under their website’s talent roster.

The first lawsuit against the musician was filed by his former manager Jane Doe in May. Shortly after, another unnamed woman filed sued Allen for sexual assault and battery in a Tennessee district court. The singer was also pulled from the upcoming CMA Fest lineup and suspended by his agency, UTA, in the wake of the allegations. Allen denied the first set of allegations made by his former manager. He alleged that they were in a consensual relationship and the accusations were “deeply troubling and hurtful.”

A recap of the allegations made against Jimmie Allen

Last month, Allen’s former manager sued the singer for sexually assaulting and harassing her for a period of 18 months when she served as his day-to-day manager. The woman filed her case under the name of “Jane Doe” and accused Allen of raping her during a work trip to Los Angeles in March 2021. The singer later admitted that he had a nearly two-year “sexual relationship” with his former manager but strongly denied the accusations of sexual misconduct.

Meanwhile, another anonymous also sued Allen over a second accusation of sexual assault, less than a month from the first set of allegations. In a lawsuit filed in a Tennessee district court, the second woman accused of assault and battery and said that he filmed their sexual encounter without her consent. She allegedly filed a police report in Las Vegas in July 2022, claiming that the incident happened in May. As per the documents, the woman claimed that Allen violated her privacy by filming her in secret and engaging in sexual contact with her without consent.

Jimmie Allen apologized to his wife Alexis Gale

After admitting to having a consensual relationship with his manager, Allen issued an apology to his now-former wife, Alexis Gale. “I want to publicly apologize to my wife Alexis for humiliating her with my affair,” Allen on Instagram last month. “I’m embarrassed that my choices have brought shame on her. That’s something that she did not deserve at all,” he added. “I also want to apologize to my children for being a poor example of a man and a father. I’m working on becoming a better person that my kids can be proud of. My goal is to be better than the generation before me,” the singer mentioned.
