The latest episode of 'Dr Pimple Popper' introduced audiences to Alyse, a woman with a nasty rash that she says 'smells like hot garbage'

UPLAND, CALIFORNIA: 'Dr Pimple Popper' Season 9 returns with a brand new episode and scary popping. Dermatologist Dr Sandra Lee is once again entertaining fans as she pops and squeezes an array of painful cysts and pimples.

The viewers met Mike who has an "extremely noticeable, squishy" bump on the back of his head which bothered him for around a decade in the previous episode of the TLC show. However, the latest episode introduced audiences to Alyse, a woman with a nasty rash that she says "smells like hot garbage".

Who is Alyse?

Alyse has a rash that smells like hot garbage. She shared in the episode that if she gets a nasty infection, it smells like hot garbage. She further revealed that her rash was damp. The smell makes her gag sometimes. Alyse is also sometimes embarrassed because of her rash. Alyse's legs were also covered in red, painful-looking rashes. Alyse further noted that her rash sometimes "makes you feel almost, like, inhuman."

What happened to Alyse in 'Dr Pimple Popper'?

Alyse seeks help from a cosmetic surgeon and dermatologist Dr Lee aka Dr Pimple Popper, who has taken on a whole range of different skin issues this season. Dr Lee noted that Alyse has a mystery rash on her body. However, from Dr Lee's initial observation, it looks like Alyse has psoriasis, certainly on her elbows and her upper back. Dr Lee then explained, "She does give me a little history of a rash that also is in more folded areas or more creased areas, and that would potentially be a rarer form of psoriasis. It's called inverse psoriasis." The dermatologist further admitted, "But it is very atypical to have somebody that has psoriasis in both of these ways. So I think that this is still certainly a mystery."

Where is Alyse now?

Dr Lee examined Alyse's stomach and noted that her skin is almost paper thin. She could see her veins and arterioles, small blood vessels that carry blood away from the heart. Dr Lee asked, "This is where you use a lot of that steroid, too?" Alyse replied, "Mm-hmm." Alyse also confirms that her skin issues started right around the time she started using the steroid cream.

Dr Lee told the camera, "I notice this area has very thin skin. It's almost translucent. You can see the blood vessels underneath." However, Dr Lee later revealed that there was no evidence of psoriasis in those areas. So it was still a mystery. The dermatologist admitted that this was certainly one of the more unusual rashes that she have seen. After the successful diagnosis, Alyse now feels human again and is going to beauty school.
