George Stephanopoulos and Ali Wentworth have acknowledged facing challenges at home after both their daughters left for college

NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: ‘Good Morning America’ star George Stephanopoulos’ wife Ali Wentworth recently shared a snap from an undisclosed location on her Instagram story.

The 58-year-old actress and producer who has been burdened with an empty home since her daughters left for college went clamming in mudflats on Sunday, November 26.

But before sharing the snap, Ali also took to her Instagram story to share a photo of her dog sleeping after Thanksgiving.

Ali Wentworth goes clamming at an unknown location

Ali went to a secluded place and failed to disclose where she really was. The photo shared by her captured a figure from a distance who appeared to be Ali.

She wore a chunky sweater, pants, and boots for the activity of collecting clams.

She was seen wading through the water as the sun shined behind them.

Ali posted the snap on her Instagram Story on Sunday and captioned it, "30-degree clamming!”

She didn't reveal whether ‘Good Morning America’ host and her husband, George, had joined her on the wholesome getaway.

Recently, Ali also playfully took a jab at her husband when she appeared on ‘GMA’ to celebrate their anniversary.

She joked that it felt special to "wake up alone" on the milestone day.

Ali delivered a message for George on air and said, “Happy anniversary, honey. Twenty-two years. Twenty-two years of waking up on our anniversary alone in bed, only to watch you interview some beautiful actress on TV.”

Her daughters, Harper and Eliott also honored her and George on this tremendous milestone. Their youngest daughter, Harper's post included a throwback image of Ali smiling behind George as she wrapped her arms around him.

Ali Wentworth shares snap of her dog after Thanksgiving

Just after Thanksgiving day, Ali shared a snap of a family member which turned out to be her dog.

Ali posted a photo to her Instagram Story. The photo consisted of the family's dog lying on a part of their couch.

The light was shining in on the dog as he appeared to be sleeping. She captioned the post, "Morning after....”

That was the only snap Ali posted from Thanksgiving, while she kept her social media quiet for the rest of the holiday.
