'GMA' meteorlogost Ginger Zee raised an important environmental issue by sharing pictures of her two sons on their first day of school

NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: ‘Good Morning America’ meteorologist Ginger Zee recently shared a rare snap of his two sons on their first day of school while thanking the authorities for using electric buses to transport children to their respective schools.

The 42-year-old ‘GMA’ star is the face and voice of Climate Change at ABC and continues to cover stories that impact the environment on a large scale. Whether it’s covering hurricanes or floods, Zee has always been at the forefront of her network.

However, she has now taken the moment to send her two sons to school to talk about the benefit of using electric buses and the subsequent reduction in pollution due to their continuous usage.

Zee is happy to admit that if all “school buses go electric, it will be like taking 2 million cars off the roads.”

Ginger Zee promotes the use of electric school buses on her sons' first day of school

Zee took to Instagram and posted a snap of her and her two sons, Adrian and Miles as she stood in front of a school bus and grinned wide, with two thumbs up.

She donned a light blue polo shirt with knit details and navy pants while the kids were dressed in T-shirts and shorts with a few smirks on their faces and sporting thumbs up, just like their mother.

Zee then took the liberty to talk about the benefit of going electric, thanking the authorities for sending a demo.

She captioned her post, “His is reluctance…not about school but joining mommy talking about electric busses - thanks to #STA for bringing a demo.”

Zee further broke down the details in her post and wrote, “5600 electric busses there now and WRI electric school bus initiative hopes to get the entire 280,000 busses in our country electric by 2030.”

The ‘GMA’ meteorologist mentioned that despite saving fuel, kids will be less cranky as well. “No more diesel in the lungs, savings over the life of the bus, studies show the behavior of kids is better as they aren’t yelling over the engine (it’s silent).”

She added, “School busses are the largest form of public transportation in our country, and if all electric would be like taking 2 million cars off the roads.” The end of her caption saw Ginger wishing everyone to have a safe first day of school, cautioning everyone to "stay cool.”

‘GMA’ Ginger Zee’s tired look sparks pregnancy rumors

Only recently, Zee was out on an assignment covering a story on the hurricane. She posted a small clip from her work trip, looking completely exhausted after a hard day at work.

Fans spotted this and commented about her “tired” looks.

Zee addressed the fact in her clip and said, “Everyone's commenting, 'You look so tired!' on my last post. Well, covering hurricanes doesn’t exactly offer much sleep.”

However, one user took her exhaustion to be a sign of pregnancy. Interestingly, this user was her husband Ben Aaron who commented on her post, “Are you pregnant?”

Ginger cheekily shot back: "Would be nice. Let's work on it."

At present, there is no confirmation about Zee being pregnant.
