Sam's hesitation to agree to sharing a bed with Tiff's dog causes Tiff to flip out

TEXAS: Tiff Der doesn't understand why their dog Shylo can't lie in the bed with Sam Mark in the first set of episodes of 'The Ultimatum: Queer Love': "This is a trial marriage, and Shylo is non-negotiable." Fans, on the other hand, don't understand why Sam responded the way she did, considering that it was a "trial" marriage and not forever.

'The Ultimatum: Queer Love' shed attention on a variety of particular challenges that queer women face when dating. There are serious debates about what it means to present masc or femme and how that affects attraction; an emotional discussion about which partner will bear the couple's future offspring; and, of course, the all-important dog chat. Yes, there's a cliché for a reason that lesbians have a special affection for their dogs, and Tiff and Sam's argument on 'The Ultimatum: Queer Love' proved it more than once. Nobody ever puts Shylo in a bind.

Mildred worries as 'trial wife' Aussie's commitment issues makes 'The Ultimatum: Queer Love' experiment 'tough'

'If you don't like my dog, you can get the f**k out'

Tiff and Sam's fate was written on the wall from the beginning. While Sam looked open to the idea of trying out a marriage with someone other than Aussie Chau, Tiff's thoughts and heart never seemed to leave Mildred Woody. Tiff chose Sam, but not before telling Mildred how much they hoped they could choose her.

The relationship got off to a rocky start, and it didn't take long for things to fall apart. Tiff's dog Shylo was the tipping moment. When the couples all moved in together, it was clear that Tiff had a special affinity with their four-legged companion. When Sam urged Shylo not to sleep in their bed, Tiff decided to sleep on the sofa with their dog rather than in their bed with ther trial bride. Tiff criticized Sam for not trying hard enough to compromise with Shylo the next morning, and Sam replied by stating Tiff was unjustly comparing her to how their ex Mildred got along with the dog.

Tiff's confessional finished with her saying, "If you don't like my dog, you can get the f**k out." So, while things may not have worked out for Tiff and Sam at first, despite their promises to focus on their communication, seeing 'The Ultimatum' may have revealed to Tiff who her true love is: Shylo. And, to be honest, all the super-invested dog parents who watched the conflict could probably relate to Tiff's enthusiasm. However, not everyone appeared to be on the same page.

'There is seriously something wrong with Tiff'

Reacting to the whole argument, viewers took to Twitter to call her out. One wrote, "Sam says she doesn't know how she feels about the dog being in the bed & all of a sudden Tiff thinks she's a horrible person. Bffr." Siding with Mildred for giving Tiff 'The Ultimatum', one wrote, "Tiff and this dog. I'm starting to see why Mildred be breaking up with them all the time idk!" Asking them to quit the show, one person tweeted, "there is seriously something wrong with Tiff. Girl go be by yourself since the dog so superior." A fourth user tweeted, "tiff from the ultimatum queer love shows why dog people are so insufferable."

Putting all dog lovers in the line of questioning one person tweeted, "Dog owners like Tiff scare me. If Sam is not comfortable sleeping in a bed with YOUR dog respect that? Is she insane why are you gaslighting her to be comfortable with it that’s so selfish. That is a DOG it can sleep on the ground wtf." Another person chimed in, "Tiff and this damn dog Girl. I mean I get you loving your dog, I really do. But you can’t hate Sam for not acting how you want her to act towards your dog… smh wild." One Twitter user further commented, "i cannot take tiff seriously about this dog sleeping on the bed argument." Asking them to calm down, one person wrote, "Tiff calm down…this dog matter is not that deep. You clearly pay more attention to the dog than Mildred is why she gave you an ultimatum."

The first four episodes of 'The Ultimatum: Queer Love' is currently airing on Netflix followed by Episodes 5-8 scheduled to release on May 31. The final batch of episodes will air on June 7.
