NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Following the government's successful avoidance of a significant nationwide shutdown, an incident involving Jamaal Bowman's fire alarm has surfaced, leading to scrutiny regarding the possibility of him disrupting an official proceeding.

Although the investigation into the matter is ongoing, the likelihood of Bowman being expelled from the House appears to be minimal. Nevertheless, the New York Democratic Representative has not escaped harsh criticism.

Greg Gutfeld, adding his voice to the criticism directed at Bowman, drew a controversial comparison between Bowman's actions during the Friday voting on the Stopgap bill and the tragic events of the 9/11 World Trade Center attacks.

Furthermore, he called for the congressman to face legal consequences for his actions.

Greg Gutfeld calls Jamaal Bowman's fire alarm incident an insurrection

During his recent appearance on 'The Five' on Fox News, the host asserted that there was "no doubt" in his mind that Bowman intentionally activated the fire alarm with the intention of delaying the House from passing the spending bill.

"This is probably the worst deliberate acts since 9/11," Gutfeld claimed, "The question is does he go to prison and for how long? He was trying to initiate an insurrection on his own and he should be treated just like the January six-ers."

He pointed out that the January 6 attack on the Capitol was not by a "sitting congressman."

"On the Right, the freaks aren't in power," Gutfeld said, "On the Left, the freaks ARE in power. And if you want proof, compare how they create their own conspiracies."

Gutfeld suggested that conspiracy theories by right-wingers came from the citizens on the internet, through social media, and called it harmless saying, "They don't go anywhere."

On the other hand, he claimed that left-wing politicians are responsible for conspiracies like the Steele Dossier and Hunter Biden's laptop controversy.

"On the right, the nuts remain nuts," Gutfeld said, "On the left, the nuts become elevated and they end up running the country. I think we should be really really frightened by that."

Greg Gutfeld demands Bowman to be sent to jail

The Fox News host then concluded that Bowman should be punished with imprisonment.

"This dude has to face the same consequences," Gutfeld added, "He should be expelled; that's what you would do in school, as a principal. He should go to jail."

He later also went on to claim that the congressman might be intoxicated while he was in the House.

"There's another option: lying, stupid or drunk," Gutfeld said, "People who are drunk pull fire alarms usually around last call or if they get thrown out of a bar. He might have been drunk!"
