Donny Osmond has a simple rule when it comes to swearing: don’t do it

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Donny Osmond has a simple rule when it comes to swearing: don’t do it.

The 65-year-old singer says he has never uttered a curse word in his life, because he wants to emulate his father, George Osmond.

Was George Osmond a tough man?

For Donny, even though his dad was also a World War II veteran, who died in 2007 at the age of 90, was tough he never swore, but he personally would like to say things to people, but then again, he remembers his father.

“He was tough, but he never swore,” Osmond tells People. “Obviously I still think the words! There are certain people I would love to say certain words to at certain times, but I just think, ‘Be like your dad.’”

Why doesn't Donny Osmond schedule anything?

Donny Osmond has learned how to balance his work life and family life and for that, despite being a workaholic he doesn't plan anything.

He said, "I’ve learned how to balance my life. I’ve been a workaholic, but I scheduled nothing so I could take my wife, my children and our 14 grandkids all on a boating trip. I am a Grandpa..."

His daily affair is also to play Sudoku on his phone. "I only do hard and evil, never medium. I’m a sponge for learning."

He also loves spending time in his "secret garden", where he grows raspberries, grapes and other fruits. “It’s my oasis,” he said.

Osmond, who has five children and 14 grandkids with his wife of 45 years, Debbie, is currently performing a solo residency at Harrah’s Las Vegas through May 2024.

The last thing Danny Osmond does before going on stage?

Before he goes on stage, Osmond reveals that he does one last thing. “I say a prayer. I always remember one show where my brothers and I ran out onstage, and there were two people in the audience.

"So every time I see a packed house, I have an attitude of gratitude.”

Previously as reported by MEAWW, Osmond also shared his secret to a happy marriage.

"We work very hard. A successful marriage doesn't just happen. I don't want to paint the picture that we are just Pollyanna-ish, or very lucky," he said.

He added, "We've had challenges and arguments over the years, but at some point, you have to ask is it really worth falling out over, or is my ego getting in the way, of having to be right?"
