The NBC competition is returning with a troop of new athletes who would push their bodies to the max as they attempt to compete for the whopping prize.

Hosts Matt Iseman and Akbar Gbajabiamila, along with co-host Zuri Hall, will return to 'American Ninja Warrior' Season 15. The ninjas will compete in the qualifying and semifinal rounds in Los Angeles before moving to the national finals in Las Vegas. However, the thrilling competition comes with a whopping prize.

How much prize money does the winner of 'American Ninja Warrior' take home?

The athletes will compete for the whopping prize in 'American Ninja Warrior' Season 15. Notably, the prize fund has grown to quite an astonishing amount throughout the seasons. According to NBC, the ninja who completes all six final obstacles takes home a whopping $1 million. Interestingly, 'American Ninja Warrior' doesn't allocate the $1 million prize to a winner in every single season of the show. In most seasons, no one completes the final obstacles and in those cases, the Last Ninja Standing takes home $100,000. Notably, only 'American Ninja Warrior' Season 7 and Season 11 are the two seasons in which the winner took a million-dollar home. However, fans are excited to see whether any Ninja could reach the final obstacles and bag the whopping prize money.

What's new about 'American Ninja Warrior' Season 15?

'American Ninja Warrior' Season 15 will be totally different from the previous seasons as the contestants will compete against each other simultaneously. Additionally, the proverbial Mega Wall will be the biggest in 'American Ninja Warrior history' as it now is a whopping 18.5 feet. Furthermore, the competitors will have to complete all six obstacle courses in a designated time for a shot at the $10,000 prize. Meanwhile, the winner who conquers all four stages at the National Finals will receive the top prize of $1 million. New obstacles included in Season 15 are Pole Vault, Greased Lighting, The Getaway, Ring The Bells, Lass Launch, Kite Surfer and Cubes.
