Lil Wayne found support among netizens as he slammed a newly unveiled waxwork of him at the Hollywood Wax Museum

PIGEON FORGE, TENNESSEE: Lil Wayne pulled no punches while revealing how he felt about his new wax figure that was unveiled at the Hollywood Wax Museum.

After a photo of the replica went viral online, the 41-year-old rapper from Louisiana took to X (formerly Twitter) and wrote, "Sorry wax museum but dat s**t ain’t me! You tried tho and I appreciate the effort."

The figure is complete with Wayne's signature head of locked hair and his assortment of tattoos. The model also featured a diamond-encrusted grill that was visible on account of the figure's mouth being molded into a wide smile.

Dwayne Johnson's new wax figure also needs 'update'

A waxwork of 'The Rock' at The Musée Grévin in Paris sparked controversy too as fans mocked the statue's lighter skin tone, reported the Daily Mail.

The fan criticisms drew the attention of the 51-year-old actor, who took to social media to reveal he would be contacting the museum and ask for the skin color to be "updated."

In a response to the reveal in an Instagram post, Dwayne poked fun at the figure, while adding that he would reach out to have the artwork tweaked with some "important details and improvements."

Comedian James Andre Jefferson Jr lightheartedly made fun of the replica, posting on social media, "That's how Paris think he look. They turned The Rock into a pebble. It look like The Rock ain't never seen the sun a day in his life. Whoever the artist is don't need to do no type of art."

Dwayne reshared the post, writing in the caption, "I knew my boy @jamesjeffersonj had this Rock wax statue in his roasting crosshairs. Legit belly laughed at this."

"For the record, I'm going to have my team reach out to our friends at Grevin Museum, in Paris France so we can work at "updating" my wax figure here with some important details and improvements - starting with my skin color," the caption continued, "And next time I'm in Paris, I'll stop in and have a drink with myself."

The post of The Rock's wax figure reveal has so far received over 183,000 likes, with fans expressing their disappointment and confusion at the creation.
