During a segment on 'Late Night with Seth Meyers,' the host humorously compared Eggo's new maple syrup-flavored milk to Canada's breast milk

HOLLYWOOD, CALIFORNIA: In the world of flavored milk, several recent developments have taken place. These events went unnoticed by many until they were humorously highlighted by Seth Meyers during the October 10 episode of 'Late Night With Seth Meyers.'

In one of the jokes that didn't make it to the show, Meyers comically drew a comparison between Eggo's latest maple syrup-flavored milk and Canada's breast milk, drawing a humorous parallel.

Eggo's maple syrup-flavored milk joke sparks laughter

Following this, Nestlé has introduced an innovative product that breaks away from the traditional coffee creamer - Eggo Maple Waffle flavored milk. This unique creation is scheduled to hit the retail market in November 2023.

Meyers started saying, "Writing jokes is hard work."

"They have to write hundreds, hundreds of jokes every day just to get the 10 or 12 we use in the monologue. And honestly, a lot of the jokes they write just aren't good."

"And sometimes I think they throw in a few stinkers on purpose just to fill the page and meet the assignment".

He then went on to say, "So, here's how this works."

"I'm going to read some real jokes that were really submitted by my writers, paid writers, paid better than ever before...that are unusable for the show."

He crackled, "Eggo has released a new maple syrup-flavored milk, or, as it's known in Canada, breast milk."

The audience in the row reacted with laughter, cheers, and applause, as Meyers ended the news, saying, "Yeah, it's that dude."

The 'maple syrup joke' left the Internet in crackles

Meyers's clever take on the Eggo joke and applauding his writers wasn't overlooked.

Fans overflowed the comment section with one saying, "As a Canadian, the maple milk joke was actually pretty good. Made me laugh."

One praised Meyers for supporting his writers, saying, "As a Canadian, the maple syrup breast milk was funny. Also, thanks for supporting your writing staff as the lead the fight for union support for less high-profile workers."

Another praised, "I love how much Seth loves his writers! You can tell how close and supportive an environment it is. It's insane how rare that is in late night but I am glad for it."

It seems like the maple syrup joke was one of the show stoppers with one commenting, "As a Canadian, the maple syrup joke, well done sir."

While one wrote, "Ok. I am glad I wasn't taking a drink when he told the joke about Canadian breastmilk," while another said, "The rejected jokes were 240% better than the accepted ones."
