'RHOD' star Kameron Westcott's marriage has been affected by Katy Perry's mansion fight with 84-year-old veteran

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Singer Katy Perry is no stranger to controversy, especially after spending a year fending off critics while serving as a judge on 'American Idol.'

Meanwhile, the family of dying veteran Carl Westcott is suing the 'I Kissed a Girl' singer for $2.6 million in a property dispute, while fans blasted Perry for "attacking and tricking the weak."

Carl's daughter-in-law, 'Real Housewives of Dallas' star Kameron Westcott, revealed to Radar Online that the legal dispute between her father-in-law and Perry and Orlando Bloom has placed her marriage and family under "so much stress."

'RHOD' star Kameron has been happily married to Court Westcott since 2008 and is also a doting mother of two - Hilton Westcott and Cruise Westcott.

Kameron was open about the toll Carl's legal dispute had on their family, particularly on her husband Court, who she claimed dislikes being in the spotlight.

Along with caring for his ailing father, Court has also been juggling his full-time job, working with Carl's attorneys, and raising their young children.

A nasty three-year legal dispute between the singer, 38, and 84-year-old Westcott over his sprawling $15 million Santa Barbara mansion has now moved to a Los Angeles court as Carl's son prepares to defend his father in court.

The dying veteran claimed to be under the influence of opiates and medicines after having significant back surgery when he signed a real estate deal to sell his house to Perry in July 2020.

Days after the pills' effects wore off, the 'American hero,' who has Huntington's Disease, claimed he became aware of what he had agreed to and revoked the contract.

According to court records obtained by Daily Mail, Perry and her fiance Bloom, 46, are now battling not only to ultimately take possession of the dementia patient's opulent, eight-bed home but also to receive millions in compensation.

Kameron Wescott and her husband Court have two children

The 'Real Housewives of Dallas' star who has been open about her love of pink and dogs is also a caring mother of two young kids.

Kameron has a daughter named Hilton who was born in 2011 and a son named Cruise.

The 'RHOD' star adores her children more than she adores pink things. She frequently posts photos of herself and her kids at the beach or when on vacation in New York City in her loud pink-themed Instagram.

Given that they are still too young to form anything resembling a workable business strategy, it is still unknown if either of them will inherit their mother's affinity for her entrepreneurial spirit.

Hilton shares her mother's love of pink

Although Hilton often matches with Kameron for stylish outings and shares her mother's passion for pink, she loves enjoying time with her beloved father.

The 'RHOD' daughter donned her best attire to join her delighted father Court for the 2020 Daddy Daughter Dance at the Dallas Country Club.

Kameron captioned the post, "Hilton and Daddy looking amazing, and mommy’s night off!! One of her favorite days of the year is the school Daddy Daughter Dance. She always comes back with the biggest smile and so much to talk about!!!"

Fans called out Katy Perry for ‘scam’ lawsuit against ‘dying vet’

Several of Perry's fans have started hitting her on X (formerly known as Twitter) following news that the pop diva and Bloom would be forcibly evicting a dying veteran from his house.

One angry fan slammed the singer, "Why are you trying to kick a dying vet out of his house? What is wrong with you? Your real estate agent is so shady, getting him to sign something while he's on drugs from surgery in the hospital."

Another fan questioned, "What’s up with Katy Perry & her disturbing real estate deals/scams in CA?"

"WOW who knew @katyperry & Orlando Bloom were such scumbags and terrible people," scoffed a third person, "To think she comes from a very religious family. To do this to a vet and someone who is in the last years of their life. To think I looked up to this heartless Witch! Talk about a LOWLIFE!!!!"

Others have taken to X to share funny images mocking the singer and her actor partner over the ongoing legal dispute.

Carl Westcott claimed Katy Perry made him sell house when he 'lacked the mental capacity'

The backlash comes in response to veteran Carl's allegations that Perry and Bloom forced him to sell the house because he "lacked the mental capacity to understand the nature and probable consequences of the contract" as a result of a medical operation.

According to court records obtained by the New York Post, Carl, a member of the 101st Airborne Regiment of the US Army, had bought the house with the intention of relocating there "for the rest of his life."

In a last-ditch attempt, the celebrity pair wrote to Carl in 2020 to express their love for the property and their desire to pay more than what he had paid for it.

Despite their claims that they wanted to move in, the documents uncovered show that the couple actually wanted to turn the house into a rental.

According to Kameron, the anticipated courtroom drama, in which Perry will testify, and being there for Carl in his dying days have added significant stress to their marriage.

As they attempt to manage everything, she claimed that their relationship "has been affected," disclosing that they worry Carl won't live to see the resolution of the legal battle.
