LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Kim Zolciak and her estranged husband Kroy Biermann's financial troubles amid their turbulent divorce are not settled as the exes are being sued over an alleged unpaid debt of $217k. As per court documents, Simmons Bank has filed a civil lawsuit against the couple.

In the lawsuit, the bank has stated that a Home Equity Line of Credit was executed by the defendants in the amount of $300k with Landmark Community Bank which matured in December 2016. In August 2017, the duo extended the maturity date to December 2017 by executing a modification agreement. Later in 2018, Zolciak and Biermann acknowledged they owed a remaining principal balance of $271,788.61 after a second modification was executed, reported Radar Online.

Zolciak and Biermann remain silent about the lawsuit

Simmons stated that the exes agreed to make monthly payments with the first payment of $1,132.46 due on February 24, 2018, and January 24, 2038, as the date for the final payment of the remaining balance. According to the bank, the couple made their last payment on October 28, 2022.

On May 19, 2023, they were notified of the debt, according to the lawsuit. The entire balance the defendants owed is now been demanded by Simmons. The bank stated they owed $213k plus interest of $1,700 as of April 1, 2023. The couple has not yet responded to the lawsuit, according to the outlet.

Zolciak and Biermann's previous financial issues

Zolciak and Biermann who are in the middle of a divorce and are still living together under the same roof have been slapped with several lawsuits over unpaid debts in the past.
