Mark Zuckerberg has kept options open for a fight with Elon Musk in the future

AUSTIN, TEXAS: Elon Musk, the CEO of X, is renowned for enjoying himself while he's not working. Because of this, his followers weren't shocked to see him honoring the Russian-American scientist and podcaster Lex Fridman on his birthday.

Fridman shared images from his birthday celebration with Elon Musk and UFC announcer Joe Rogan on Instagram.

Sources claim that Elon Musk and Lex Fridman have been working out together, and Fridman posted a photo of the two together on his birthday showing them both dressed for the gym.

Celebrating Lex Fridman’s birthday

“Thank you for the birthday wishes! I got to celebrate it with amazing friends, including Elon Musk, @joerogan, and @hubermanlab, all who have brought so much fun, wisdom, and joy into my life. I’m truly grateful for this beautiful journey, and the love & kindness I’ve gotten along the way. Thank you for everything. I love you all!.” the caption read.

At this point, Musk, who was supposed to be battling Mark Zuckerberg, appears to be preoccupied with other matters.

As Mark Zuckerberg just exposed the world to Threads, a platform similar to Musk's X, the struggle between the two went beyond merely the "Octagon."

Was the Zuckerberg vs Musk fight shelved?

According to sources, Mark Zuckerberg called off the fight, and it appears the CEO of Meta had a good reason for doing so.

Musk had issued the challenge, but as the Tesla owner exhibited little fervor and desire in actually carrying out the duel, Zuckerberg was compelled to back out.

“I think we can all agree Elon isn’t serious and it’s time to move on. Elon won’t confirm a date, then says he needs surgery, and now asks to do a practice round in my backyard instead,” Zuckerberg stated in a Threads post.

Dana White, president of the UFC, was given the task of promoting the contest. The rumor around town was that the two may get into a fight.

The two were observed being trained by UFC fighters including Israel Adesanya, Georges St-Pierre, and Alexander Volkanovski.

However, since the battle has been called off, everything is now irrelevant.

Moreover, there are possibilities of a fight in the future as Zuck said in his Threads post, “If Elon ever gets serious about a real date and official event, he knows how to reach me.”
