NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Megyn Kelly recently revealed in her latest podcast that her security team, QVerity released a message stating the warnings in the light of the recent racial tensions in the US after Hamas attacks the state of Israel.

Kelly’s statement comes right after former Hamas chief Khaled Meshaal called for a Global Day of Jihad. Meshaal called for protests across the Muslim world in support of the Palestinians and for the peoples of neighboring countries to join the fight against Israel, Reuters reported.

The former Fox News star told her viewers on the podcast that she has been speaking to her friends in New York who have received “similar warnings” and that a friend of hers refused to send her daughter to school.

Megyn Kelly reads out the warning from her security team

Kelly mentioned in her podcast how the ongoing Israel-Hamas war has made more “Jewish Americans, Jewish French citizens potentially unsafe” today.

The veteran journalist said, “You know we have NYU unleash all of its cops in the city, there’s FBI warnings, my security team, QVerity, guys who keep me safe just in case any lunatic..you know..you get issues as a public figure. They released something to me today...”

Kelly then read the statement for the viewers which clearly denoted the escalated racial tensions in New York.

She read, “While there is heightened security around places of worship, there are potentially softer targets such as streets, markets, coffee shops, parking garages, other areas where individuals are traveling to and from a place of worship, public transportation particularly subways and buses, also particularly vulnerable today in major cities..”

She continued, “Given the uncertainty characterized above, it would be wise to carefully assess the need for travel and or activity outside your residence over the next 24 to 48 hours.”

Kelly then disclosed that the warning was not just for her but for people in all metropolitan areas, particularly those “with a high Palestinian population and/or high Jewish population.”

The former Fox News star stated that owing to the ongoing tensions, some “Jewish kids had taken off their yamakas,” while some had to remove the blazers that revealed them to be Jews.
