In a new Beast Philanthropy video, MrBeast narrated the story of Michael, who runs a dog rescue center in Thailand and helps those with special needs

GREENVILLE, NORTH CAROLINA: Jimmy Donaldson aka MrBeast, has again demonstrated his extraordinary commitment to philanthropy in a touching new video released on his channel, Beast Philanthropy.

This time, the creator lent a helping hand to an animal shelter in Thailand, breathing new life into their mission of rescuing and caring for dogs.

The heartwarming video begins with a poignant introduction, recounting the inspiring journey of Michael, a compassionate individual from Thailand.

Nearly 12 years ago, his life took an unexpected turn when he discovered a malnourished and starving dog behind his restaurant. This fateful encounter marked a turning point in his life, igniting his passion for rescuing and caring for dogs.

MrBeast shares Michael's extraordinary story of helping dogs

Over the years, Michael dedicated himself to running a dog rescue center in Thailand, offering emergency medical care, food, shelter, and even wheelchairs to countless canines in dire need.

His unwavering commitment earned him the admiration of many, but it also presented an increasing financial burden as the number of dogs under his care continued to grow.

At the start of the video, MrBeast said, "Throughout history, dogs have proven their undying instincts to protect us. But over time an ever-increasing number of them are left neglected, starving, and forced to fend for themselves."

He continued, "However, in Thailand, there is one named Michael who is trying his best to make a difference," introducing Michael’s moving story.

It didn’t take long for MrBeast to come up with a plan as he sent his teammates, Darren and Dan, to help out the rescuer.

"When we have to turn away an animal in need, it feels horrible because we don’t have enough space, we don’t have enough manpower. So we try our best with the things we have," revealed Michael in his confessional.

Then, MrBeast detailed the plethora of problems that the shelter owner faces daily, saying, "His makeshift rescue van keeps breaking down. His dog feeding truck is infested with rats and he doesn’t have the necessary medical equipment to save more than one dog at a time."

MrBeast shares a glimpse of Michael's daily routine of helping dogs

Michael's rescue home in Thailand is a bustling hub of compassion and care, where every day is dedicated to the well-being of hundreds of dogs, both inside and outside the shelter.

With a heartwarming blend of devotion and hard work, he and his team ensure that these furry friends receive the love and support they desperately need.

As explained by MrBeast, one remarkable aspect of Michael's shelter is the unit that tends to approximately 90 dogs with special needs, including those that are blind, paralyzed, and elderly, requiring extra care and attention.

To improve their quality of life, the shelter arranges physiotherapy and hydrotherapy sessions for these special canines at least three times a week. These treatments help these dogs maintain their mobility and overall well-being.

Beyond the shelter's walls, Michael extends his care to the community by taking responsibility for over 400 stray dogs. The extraordinary commitment involves not only providing food but also ensuring their well-being through regular monitoring.

Michael's dedication knows no bounds as he works tirelessly to make a difference in the lives of these stray dogs.

MrBeast expressed his admiration for the rescuer's unwavering dedication, stating, "We were really touched by the effort and devotion Michael puts into this. So we decided to go beyond just giving money to the shelter and doing so much more."

The MrBeast team will also cover thousands of dollars worth of dog food for the entire year. In addition, a brand new ER anesthesia machine, truck, and ambulance have also been gifted to the shelter owner.

Moreover, he'll help Michael set up a new wing of the shelter to help them house more than 300 more dogs.
