LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Pedro Pascal recently revealed that he got an infection after he let his fans put their fingers in his eyes when they wanted to reenact his death scene in 'Game of Thrones'.

Talking to Kieran Culkin, Michael Imperioli, Jeff Bridges, Damson Idris, and Evan Peters in the latest episode of The Hollywood Reporter's 'Actor Roundtable,' Pascal opened up about his bizarre interaction with fans. "I remember, earlier on, because of ‘Game of Thrones’ and the way my character died, people were super into taking selfies with their thumbs in my eyes," the 48-year-old actor recalled as the others at the roundtable laughed.

'I remember getting a bit of an eye infection'

The brutal death scene in Season 4 showed Pascal's character Oberyn Martell getting into a fight with Grego 'The Mountain' Clegane who gouged out Martell's eyes and killed him by crushing his skull. "At first, I was so earnest and happy about the success of the character in the show, and I’d let them! In New York, of all places! And then I remember getting a bit of an eye infection," Pascal said.

During their talk, the 'Narcos' actor also spoke about his popularity of being the internet's "daddy". Addressing the social media giving him the moniker "daddy", he said, "I am having fun with it, it seems a little role related." Pascal said that he has been doing father roles in recent years in 'The Last of Us' and 'The Mandalorian'. The actor then jokingly told the panel that he is "not a daddy and I ain’t going to be a daddy!", according to Page Six.

'Bro lets people stick their thumbs in his eyes for fun?'

Reacting to Pascal's interaction with his fans that caused him to get an infection in the eyes, social media users wondered why the actor let his fans take pictures with their thumbs in his eyes. "Bro lets people stick their thumbs in his eyes for fun?", a Twitter user wrote while another tweeted, "I love him but like what did he think would happen eventually." Talking about the disturbing scene, a user said, "I can‘t ever watch this scene again. Saw it once and that was enough. Not because it disgusts me or anything but because he was literally my most favorite character who died in such an undeserving way. I hate this scene from the bottom of my heart."

One user wrote, "I get it Pedro is a nice guy and all but why would you ever let people do that to you," and someone remarked, "Honestly, above and beyond to entertain them in the first place," while another tweeted, "Pedro sir please enforce healthy boundaries."
