'You’re such an amazing friend to Madonna and you’re such an amazing person in general. Thank you so much Rosie,' wrote a fan

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Rosie O'Donnell shared an update about her longtime pal Madonna's health amid the music legend's "serious" hospitalization. She shared a throwback picture of herself and the singer doing yoga poses on the 'Rosie O'Donnell Show' on Instagram and captioned it "She's feeling good #madonna #love"

After the positive update shared by the 'Now and Then' actress, Madonna's worried fans rushed to thank her. "Bless you for this update. We’ve all been worried. You’re a true friend to our Madge," a fan wrote while another fan commented, "Thank you Rosie!!! At least someone keeps us updated!" Calling the singer a fighter, a third fan wrote, "Thanks so much Rosie, I was very worried about M. I. This update made my night. I'm glad she’s gonna be okay. She’s a fighter but that makes her stronger. You’re such an amazing friend to Madonna and you’re such an amazing person in general. Thank you so much Rosie."

Madonna stayed in the ICU for several days

On Saturday, June 24, the 64-year-old Queen of Pop was rushed to a New York hospital after she was found unresponsive. Madonna was then intubated in the ICU as her longtime manager, Guy Oseary shared an update on Instagram that the singer had "developed a serious bacterial infection which led to a several days stay in the ICU." In the update shared on Wednesday, Oseary wrote, "Her health is improving, however, she is still under medical care. A full recovery is expected."

A source close to the songwriter has now confirmed that she is back at her home and "feeling home," reported the Daily Mail.

'She was strenuously rehearsing and putting in the work'

Madonna's hospitalization was reportedly caused after she "strenuously" rehearsed at her Nassau Coliseum for her 'Celebration' tour which has now been postponed. "She had been putting in 12-hour days. She was strenuously rehearsing and putting in the work," an insider told Page Six.

However, another insider told the media outlet that despite the delay, the Grammy winner will hit the road after a complete recovery. "Madonna doesn’t want to cancel her tour. She was having a blast in rehearsals and wants to get back to it when she’s ready," said the source.

The 'You'll See' singer announced her tour 'Celebration in January. The tour aimed to honor the 40th anniversary of her legendary music career and the show was expected to feature her hits starting from 1982.
