'I will tell you what it's like! I'm looking forward to it,' Ryan Seacrest said after being asked about joining ABC 'Live' again

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: It's Ryan Seacrest's year and we are all for it. The media personality will come back to make our mornings entertaining, as he will join 'Live' on ABC weeks after bidding farewell to the show and getting replaced by Kelly Ripa's real husband, Mark Consuelos. But due to the many mishaps by Mark on the show, fans have thrashed him left, right, and center, and clearly want Ryan Seacrest on the show instead.

There were many instances that indicated Mark Consuelos' short-lived co-hosting duties. Ryan is all set to appear on the ABC daytime show on May 18 to promote American Idol's finale that is happening on May 21, which he has been hosting. Ryan is on cloud nine and is apparently "looking forward" to coming back and taking the reins once again. Ryan's final episode aired in April, which was a hard one for him, and for the fans as they had to see him leave after entertaining the world for six years.

A long move from New York to Los Angeles

After being dethroned from his hosting duties at ABC 'Live', Ryan Seacrest moved back to Los Angeles from New York to shoot Season 21 of 'American Idol'. The 'American Idol' host said that he would definitely miss his "work wife" Kelly Ripa, who has been running the show since 2001. Ryan was also quite happy about Kelly's real husband taking over the co-hosting duties and said that he would be glad to "pass the baton" to Mark and he won't mind if Mark "remodels" his dressing room.

A chit-chat on 'Good Morning America'

Ryan Seacrest was recently on 'Good Morning America' with host George Stephanopoulos to discuss and promote the new season of American Idol. Before starting discussions on the show's main topic, George started with, "I want to talk about the season, but first, you had a big announcement a couple of weeks ago. You're finally going to have your mornings back!" To which Ryan responded with, "Yes! I will tell you what it's like! I'm looking forward to it. I will miss being with Kelly every morning, of course having a cup of coffee with the audience. It's such a fun show and I'm grateful for the six years that I was able to do it here in New York."

Why did Mark Consuelos face backlash?

In last week's episode, while talking to some of the fans on calls, Mark didn't remember their name and called them with the wrong name, to which Kelly jumped right in to save the moment. But, things went out of hand when in the recent episode, Kelly talked about Mark snoring in the night and blaming one of the dogs. So, when Mark refused to admit it, Kelly recorded him snoring while asleep. While some fans found this extremely funny, some didn't find it amusing at all and thrashed the couple for sharing such an intricate part of their personal lives on television.

One fan wrote on Twitter, "If kelly and Mark would make their show more interesting and about other people, it would be nice!! Constructive criticism here!!" Another user chimed in, "This show has become the "Lets-talk-about-Kelly-and-Mark" show! Boring, irrelevant and a waste of one hour. Cancel this show once and for all and take us all out of our misery! smh." One user wrote, "This show has become an institution. Mark is boring and talentless. Not to mention Kelly. Cancel this show already!!" Yet another user stated, "Kelly Ripa loses it over Mark Consuelos' pixelated crotch on 'Live': It's been nothing but chaos on "Live with Kelly and Mark" since Consuelos joined the show as former host Ryan Seacrest's replacement last month."
