Sandler said that his daughters were 'pretty unphased' at the film premier of 'Leo', in which the comedian's entire family voices animated characters

NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Viewers of 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!' were captivated as renowned actor and comedian Adam Sandler expressed his profound affection for his family and his profession during a recent guest appearance on the show.

One fan aptly remarked, "Sometimes good guys win in life."

Sandler’s newest venture, an animated Netflix film named 'Leo', was a highlight of the show. In the musical comedy, the father brings to life a 74-year-old lizard, also named Leo.

Sandler not only co-wrote but also stars in this Netflix film with his entire family.

Adam Sandler's portrayal of Leo is complemented by the voices of his daughters, Sunny and Sadie, who play characters named Summer and Jayda, respectively, while Jackie, Sandler's wife, voices the character of Jayda's mother.

Adam Sandler's love for his family

The 57-year-old actor, his wife Jackie, 49, and their daughters Sadie, 17, and Sunny, 15, made a public appearance for the premiere of 'Leo' on November 19.

Jimmy Kimmel expressed his astonishment upon discovering that Adam Sandler’s entire family is featured in the new movie.

Adam replied, "That was great, thank you," describing the experience of working alongside his family while expressing gratitude for the film's success.

He added, "They're doing great... they're nice kids. This is an animated movie so they started doing the voices when they were little, like four years ago it started."

"They had to continue doing it and their voices were changing but we got away with it and they were just very funny. This is what they want to do," he added.

Adam went on to clarify that his family, interestingly, doesn’t even acknowledge the success of their films. "They just move right on. If I was in a movie at that age I'd be like... I'd be very happy."

Sandler further said that his daughters were "pretty unphased" at the premiere.

"They don't make it a big deal. They grew up with daddy doing it and stuff," said the comedian and actor, before adding, "I'm happy that it's not everything to them that side of the stuff they are kind of passionate about wanting to be good and acting."

Adam Sandler's love for his job

Later, Sandler spoke about his first movie premiere saying, "Oh my God my first movie premiere I did a movie called 'The Unsinkable Shecky Moskowitz' and I was 22, just moved to California. So it's really cool."

The actor reminisced about Bud Freeman urging him to relocate to Los Angeles. He also recalled how three individuals, finding him "pretty funny," inquired if he would be interested in taking on a lead role in a film.

He replied, "Yeah absolutely and that was it and I was like wow this town's incredible man."

Sandler went on to explain his work experience. He said, "It was the best experience I got to meet a lot of great people. I got to know what shooting movies are like."

He added, "There was a premiere and my family came out for it. The movie wasn't excellent but my father and mother got to see me on screen and even though it wasn't the greatest, they were going..."

Sandler continued, "My father's going, 'that a baby this is terrific' and my mother's like, 'you are amazing.'"
