Prince Louis, who was unable to attend the coronation concert as it was past his bedtime, had some fun at the Big Help Out event

LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM: Royal fans went wild as Prince Louis was seen fully engaged in shoveling while he took part in the Big Help Out initiative in Slough with his family. The volunteers received a pleasant surprise on Monday, May 8, when the Prince, 40, and Princess of Wales, 41, arrived at a local Scouts headquarters with their three children Prince George, nine, Princess Charlotte, eight, and Prince Louis, five.

The royal family members spent a significant amount of time renovating some Scouts huts for local members to use after attending the coronation concert last night. The fan account @RoyalllyBelle posted the sweet footage on Twitter which showed the couple's youngest son filling a wheelbarrow with sand. The young royal, however, was unable to attend the concert as it was past his bedtime.

Prince Louis busy shoveling

The 5-year-old, who was dressed in a light blue polo, navy shorts, and black Adidas trainers, was fully immersed in the task at hand and a couple of volunteers oversaw the royal as he shoveled the sand. One of the older Scouts was seen in the video testing out the wheelbarrow to see its heaviness as Louis did not even pause for a single moment. The clip ends with Louis looking in the direction of other volunteers where his big sister Charlotte was busy repainting some of the woods for the huts.

The clip has garnered over 3000 likes since it was uploaded earlier today. While Kate's youngest son shoveled in the sand, she was seen pushing a wheelbarrow as they tried to clean up a Slough scout hut. Her son then took over the control as his mother supported its weight.

A delighted Charlotte was seen running to help prepare a new path while George, who will become a king in the future, was learning how to use a power drill.

William and Kate at the event

William and Kate attended to support Big Help Out along with other senior royals including the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, the Princess Royal, and the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester. The scheme has previously been backed by various celebrities in the country. The Together Coalition and leading charities have organized the Big Help Out.

'He’s so industrious'

Twitter users reacted to the video and praised Prince Louis for his work. One tweeted, "He (Prince Louis) definitely knows how to use a shovel, you can tell it's something he's done before.! He's not mucking about with little loads either, really getting stuck in." Another wrote, "That's amazing skill for a five year old I think there we old 20 somethings that would struggle to do this!" One user posted, "Just gorgeous. We always let our kids help - my husband says this might take a long time," while another tweeted, "He is such a sweetheart with an engaging personality even from afar and at such a young age." "I could really do with him to help out in my garden for a day. He looks like a wee boy that knows to to handle a shovel," someone else wrote.
