'Not enough words can encapsulate who Worth was and the impact he left behind,' Taylor Ann Green wrote in her tribute

MARION, NORTH CAROLINA: Taylor Ann Green broke her silence on the tragic death of her brother Richard Worthington who is known by his loved ones as Worth. Days after his funeral, the 'Southern Charming' star took to Instagram to share throwback pictures of herself, Worth and their sister Catie King.

"Not enough words can encapsulate who Worth was and the impact he left behind," the 28-year-old captioned the post shared on Monday, June 19. "June 8th, 2023. The Lord called you home. We are going to miss your goofiness, your bear hugs, and that infectious laugh," she wrote.

Worth began a new charity with his father

Remembering her late brother, the Bravolebrity said she will "always admire the steadfast love you had for your family, friends (too many to count), your girlfriend, and Jesus Christ. You truly went out on top of your game and we so look forward to seeing you again one day."

In her caption, Green included late comedian Groucho Marx's quote that reads, "Blessed are the cracked, for they are the ones who let light in." The reality star also mentioned that anyone who wished to send the family condolences could be given in the form of donations to a new charity, Terra Firma, which was started by Worth and their father.

Under the post shared by Green, her fellow 'Southern Charm' star and ex-boyfriend Shep Rose commented to pay tribute to Worth. "I could say so much about knowing and loving Worth,” he wrote and added a quote from novelist Jack Kerouac about people who "burn like fabulous yellow Roman candles exploding like spiders across the stars."

Worth recently met the woman he 'adored and treasured'

In an obituary shared by a funeral home in South Carolina, the television personality's late brother was described as a person who "was a beautiful example of how to live life as fully as possible. His personality was vibrant, outgoing, and loving. Worth never knew a stranger."

In his North Carolina community, Worth recently began a men's group to "reflect on life and challenge each other's faith in Christ." The obituary also shared that he recently got into a relationship with a woman named Caroline whom he "adored and treasured."

“Most recently he met the woman he adored and treasured. Caroline brought so much joy to his life. He loved her enough to bring her home to his family and was beginning to plan a future with her by his side. Friends too numerous to name will miss the exuberant love for life that Worth brought to them," the obituary read. Worth's funeral was held on Saturday, June 17, according to Page Six.
