Taylor Swift dominated the music world with her own concert film and the launch of her album '1989'

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Taylor Swift created history by becoming the most listened-to artist on Apple Music users. It was a happening year for the pop singer as she dominated the music world with her own concert film and the launch of her album '1989.'

The music streaming giant Taylor Swift became the Artist of the Year by replacing Bad Bunny. “In the first 10 months of 2023, she saw 65 songs reach Apple Music’s Global Daily Top 100 — more than any other artist,” the service provider said in a press release.

Morgan Wallen's 'Last Night' lead ‘Top Global Songs’ list

Apple’s ‘Top Global Songs’ list was topped by Morgan Wallen's 'Last Night' as the first country song since 'Old Town Road' (2019) to top the chart. 11 country songs were included in its 100 top songs which was four last year, as per Variety.

On the Top 100 2023 list, Shazam chart, Rema’s 'Calm Down' held the number one spot with 'Rush' by Ayra Starr and 'People' by Libianca on Shazam songs.

Swift is also in the news for her romance with Travis Kelce. Earlier, Luke Bryan and Peyton Manning NFL stars shared a joke on Swift and Kelce to take a swipe at the New York Jets while hosting the 2023 Country Music Association Awards.

The duo said that they were only hosting the CMA Awards because "Travis and Taylor weren’t available," reports MEAWW.

Manning later asked Bryan the difference between Swift and the Jets, to which he replied, "Taylor can sell out a stadium."

Kendrick Lamar features in rendition of 'Bad Blood'

"Taylor Swift’s impact on music is absolutely undeniable — not just this record-breaking year, but throughout her entire career,” Oliver Schusser, Apple’s vice president of Apple Music and Beats said.

"I am so honored to be Apple Music’s Artist of the Year,” said Swift, adding “Thank you to every single one of you for making this year the most incredible, joyful, celebratory year ever."

On the Deluxe version of her re-recorded '1989' album, Lamar joined the artist in the new rendition of the track.

After re-releasing her highly-anticipated 2014 hit album '1989', Swift took to Instagram to shower Kendrick Lamar, her collaborator on 'Bad Blood,' with praise.

She wrote, "Watching @kendricklamar create and record his verses on the Bad Blood remix was one of the most inspiring experiences of my life, I still look back on this collaboration with so much pride and gratitude, for the ways Kendrick elevated the song and the way he treats everyone around him.”
