NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Megyn Kelly became visibly emotional on her podcast as she covered the "shocking" developments emerging from Israel following Hamas' unexpected and deadly attack that began on October 7.
The former Fox News host found it 'incredibly difficult’ to report on all the news from Israel and choked up while mentioning that she “doesn’t remember giving a warning to her viewers” for what she was about to show.
The devastating weekend witnessed a shocking barrage of 2,000 rockets fired into Israeli cities, alongside a ground attack marked by the kidnapping, torture, and murder of women, children, and the elderly by Hamas, as per the Daily Mail.
“This is the most disturbing news I could offer,” Kelly said at the start of her podcast show, indicating the viewers to prepare for the grotesque brutality of the news.

Kelly described the current situation in Israel as "pure evil." The veteran news anchor told her viewers about the atrocities committed by Hamas on Israeli civilians.
She said, “What you’re going to start to hear is that Israel needs to back off, that its response is disproportionate, that it’s not taking enough care of innocent civilians and you must therefore hear what was done to Israelis.”
Kelly added that Israel always does its best to “not target civilians” but Hamas’ attack was completely about “civilians.” She said of Hamas that they are “intentionally targeting the most innocent and vulnerable."
Kelly then pivoted to a piece of brutal news, choking up a little and warning her viewers about what they were about to hear.
She said, “This is brutal as it comes. Near the Israel-Gaza border, 40 babies murdered in a Cabot’s, it’s a place where Israelis live together.”
She closed her eyes and said, “Forgive me for reporting the darkness, some of them even decapitated.”
The 52-year-old then played a clip of a reporter from Israel who was on the ground covering the attack where she detailed how Israeli soldiers recovered the bodies of countless people and babies.
After the clip ended, Kelly, who was still shaken, admitted that “there are no words that can capture the evil that must exist in a person’s heart to be capable of doing something like that.”

Kelly shared the impact that the distressing news from Israel had on her, saying, “You know on this show, I always try to keep it level where you can hear the news and still function.”
However, she acknowledged that it was exceptionally challenging for her to maintain her composure after receiving the news from Israel.
Kelly emphasized to her audience that Israel is the United States' most significant ally in the Middle East, underscoring the crucial role of American support in this situation.
She proceeded to show a video clip of Hamas militants conducting house-to-house searches for civilians and then displayed footage of Israel's response to Hamas.
The former Fox News anchor informed her viewers that Israel planned to conduct a ground invasion in an effort to secure the release of their hostages.
