TikTok's new IT girl Alix Earle alleges that a hotel booking website scam left her "stranded" in Italy. The TikTok star said that her girls' group was left homeless when their stated "scenic villa" in Positano didn't exist while she was on a three-week European trip with 10 of her friends.
Earle's Italian vacation wasn't all la dolce vita. Since Earle received her diploma from the University of Miami on May 12, the trip served as a continuation of their graduation celebrations. She has been busy since then, saying goodbye to her friends, moving out of her dorm, and starting a new trip, but it appears that the universe had other plans.

What happened with TikTok star during a girls trip in Italy?
@alixearle What do we do now!?!!!! #girlstrip #positano ♬ original sound - alix earleAs soon as the girls landed in Italy around midnight, Earle revealed that the place they were supposed to stay at didn't exist and their vehicle service was canceled on them as soon as the girls arrived. "We're stranded in Italy," the influencer said in a TikTok video. "The house we were supposed to stay at doesn't exist. Our car service was canceled. It's midnight. We literally don't know where to go. The girl's trip took a turn."
In a subsequent TikTok, Earle informed her viewers that they had managed to secure lodging at a "random hotel," where four of them would have to share a cot. Alix captioned the clip, "We found a place to stay the night after our 'scenic villa in Italy' didn't exist." This is not ideal, especially when you’ve been used to luxury suites in “Dubai” and celebrity mansions on the Turks and Caicos Islands.

'Girl you'll make the best of it'
In response to a fan who commented, "Girl you'll make the best of it. You always do," Alix said, "We're having fun." Another fan came in, “Obviously not ideal to lose your housing, but these are the kind of memories that will be remembered & talked about forever,” while a third follower jokingly added, “The universe is telling you to go to the club.” The official Airbnb account also jumped into the comments section. “Babes we got you. our people are calling you now,” they wrote.
