After being accused of using Ozempic by the internet, Ana Navarro lashes out at the mention of it

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Joy Behar introduced the topic of early 2000s fat-shaming to her co-hosts on ‘The View’ and how shocked millennials are by this notion. It doesn’t take long for the conversation to shift to a hearty discussion of what it means to be body positive, keeping in mind people of all sizes.

Ana Navarro, who is often fat-shamed and trolled for her weight loss online was silent for most of the conversation around body positivity, as well as fat shaming. However, when she did speak, she mocked Alyssa Farah Griffin and Sara Haines for pitching into the conversation, because they were slimmer than the other co-hosts.

Co-hosts discuss Ozempic

Ozempic is a type 2 diabetes drug that Navarro has been accused of using following her weight loss transformation, according to People magazine, who also said that Navarro has steered clear of confirming or denying the use of the drug. As the co-hosts discuss body positivity on ‘The View', Haines talks about Ozempic, explaining Behar all about it, and admitting that she doesn’t object to it. Haines also said, “There are people who need it. In fact, Ozempic is a diabetes drug, but the problem is there are people who are losing all this weight and coming out and saying – Oh I tweaked this, I got to the gym a lot.” Behar labels them as “liars” as Navarro stays silent, barely smiling.

Navarro interrupts Ozempic conversation

Griffin also chimed in with her thoughts on Ozempic and people who don’t need it using it and that’s when Navarro interrupted the conversation, “I like love having these two skinny-minnies fighting about you know, about what fat people should take.” Navarro looked a little offended as she made the statement, and the audience and co-hosts were quick to laugh it off. Haines said, “Well, I can tell you that I would not do that. Navarro then snapped, “Okay let me talk with a little authority here.” Although Behar cut her off for a moment, Navarro continued as she asked Haines, “Do you do Botox?” After Haines said no, Navarro asked another question, “Would you?” Navarro then concludes her statement by saying, “Listen I think women and men have been lying about things they do to themselves for as long as there is.” Of course, Navarro still hasn’t denied or accepted using Ozempic for her weight loss, but the conversation did impact her.
