Fans recently tossed empty Prime bottles at Logan Paul and KSI when they were at an event

CLEVELAND, OHIO: Fans recently tossed empty Prime bottles at Logan Paul and KSI when they were at an event, and Logan Paul has now found the answer to the puzzle. Paul said it was a joke and a publicity gimmick to advertise Prime, the energy drink he and KSI released.

Since the drink's introduction, Logan Paul and KSI have had a lot of success with it. Their most recent promotional event, nevertheless, did not go particularly well. Videos that went viral at the event had people hurling bottles at the couple whenever KSI yelled "Drink PRIME."

'You big dummies forgot. They’re our fans'

Paul has now publicly stated that the entire incident was a practical joke played on the audience, particularly the media. Paul said the prank was a "marketing masterclass 101" since it brought the event far more publicity in a video broadcast on his Twitter account.

“The media had a field day with this one… They thought they had us. You big dummies forgot. They’re our fans and we asked them to do it (pelt the bottles),” he said.

A video of the event showed Paul directing the audience to throw bottles, proving that his statements were accurate. “Throw your empty bottles at us. We need to make it look like you guys hate us,” he said.

Although he plainly thinks it's a great concept, Logan Paul declined to claim "credit" for it and instead gave his buddy KSI the credit instead.

“I can’t take credit for this. This was KSI’s idea. But we got tens of millions of free impressions for Prime launching in Europe. It’s a good example of one of my favorite sayings - ‘Perhaps if you didn’t get the joke, you are the joke,” he added.

‘What happened to my CryptoZoo refund????’

While some Twitter users thought the joke was funny, others reminded Paul of the failure of the game Cryptozoo, in which players could hatch and raise hybrid NFT creatures that would increase in value over time.

Numerous investors lost money as a result of the game's failure to debut. Paul later promised to finish the game and to return the $1.3 million to backers. He received a lot of criticism and is currently the target of a lawsuit.

A fan said, “What happened to my CryptoZoo refund????” whereas another one commented on the video, “Crappy drink, excellent marketing.” Another fan said, “Folks need to understand, any kind of publicity, good or bad drives traffic. They were clowning Logan but, Prime was up at the same time.”

Moreover, a person commented on the Twitter video saying, “This is genius! I love seeing people leverage marketing to the fullest. Free media at that scale is insane. Great job by the prime team!” whereas another person said, “Another level up in marketing. Consumers drank product, have to go buy more now.”
