'I feel like everyone just puts out negative information about her and that's the focus,' said Wendy Williams' manager Will Selby

MANHATTAN, NEW YORK CITY: Wendy William's manager has revealed that the former TV host is currently in a wellness facility. Her manager Will Selby confirmed that she is receiving treatment and is doing her best after she has been to several health facilities over the past few years. "Wendy is at a facility doing her best to be her best. She's taking it day by day," Selby said.

"And that's another thing, too, does anybody even ask like, 'How's she doing? Does anyone even care... I feel like everyone just puts out negative information about her and that's the focus. Why don't we just stop for a moment and just say, 'Hey, how is she? Is she doing OK today?' Why is that not the focus? Why isn't that what we're talking about on a daily basis?," the manager told Entertainment Tonight.

William's representative refuted previous claims of her hospitalization

The Sun reported previously reported that Williams checked into a medical facility in New York and was eventually hospitalized in May. However, the former host's representative Shawn Zanotti denied the claims. According to the outlet that cited a source, the 58-year-old was "released briefly" after she was hospitalized but "went right back in" just a day later. "I can confirm that Wendy is not in the hospital, as reported. I can also confirm she is not in New York, as reported," Zanotti told Entertainment Tonight.

William's manager slams her son over allegations about her guardianship

On Tuesday, June 6, William's son Kevin Hunter Jr. told 'The U.S. Sun' that he believed his mother was exploited by her team due to her alcoholism which does not let her make proper decisions. However, Selby slammed Hunter Jr.'s claims as the 22-year-old student said that a large part of the financial support she received from his mother was lost as he claimed a guardian took over her financial affairs in May 2022.

"Taking advantage of her for what? To get what? To do what? I'm not here to brag, but I was doing just OK before Wendy came along and I insisted on helping her because she requested my assistance," the manager told the outlet.

"Wendy is under a guardianship. Everything that she does gets approved by the guardianship. A court-appointed guardianship. So, no one, even if they wanted to take advantage of her -- everything has to get approved by that court," Selby added.
