AUSTIN, TEXAS: 'The Joe Rogan Experience' podcast has been a gold mine for listeners looking for perceptive talks and stimulating debates.

Joe Rogan and his guests frequently share stunning tales that provide new insight into lesser-known historical occurrences. The eerie legend of Ruby Ridge is one of these tales.

A fatal confrontation between Randy Weaver, a Vietnam War Green Beret, and federal law enforcement authorities took place in Ruby Ridge in 1992. On the most recent podcast episode (1931), Mike Glover, a guest, highlighted the inside narrative.

The ‘Ruby Ridge’ incident

Mike Glover went into great detail on the Ruby Ridge event in the episode. He created a terrifying image of a scenario gone tragically wrong with his words.

Glover described how Weaver became the subject of an investigation by the FBI and ATF because of a problem involving firearms.

“The FBI are doing an investigation with the ATF, and find out that he (Weaver) has some kind of gun issue. They don’t do long-range surveillance, they get in ghillie suits and low crawl to his f*cking cabin right,” Glover stated.

Unfortunately, a string of unlucky incidents ruined the procedure. The guest on Rogan's podcast said that the incursion resulted in a tragic gunfight. Additionally, the FBI agent and Weaver's son passed away as a result of this.

“His son and his dog are out on the property because it’s his f**king property and they discovered these guys in ghillie suits. The son raises his rifle shoots and kills one of the FBI guys and the FBI guys kill his son,” he revealed.

The tragedy worsened as the situation became worse, and Weaver's wife eventually passed away. “Long story short, they kill his wife as well while she was holding a baby,” he added. The Weaver family ultimately filed a lawsuit against the FBI and won.

Why is the incident important for the FBI?

Glover indicated that the FBI saw Ruby Ridge as a success despite the debate and scrutiny that followed. Many people were confused by this information.

“Ruby Ridge by the way is seen as a success by the FBI, which is crazy which is f*cking bananas,” he said. The former Special Forces sergeant major also discussed how two FBI agents received medals for this assignment.

“It’s an insanely controversial topic but if you look at the FBI, there were guys who got awards from the FBI on that f**king mission. Even though it was proven that they were wrong,” Glover said.
