Joe Rogan shared a meme that was shaped like a political compass and claimed, 'Civilizations move in predictable cycles'

AUSTIN, TEXAS: Joe Rogan, one of the world's most famous podcasters, discussed 'Kali Yuga' and Hinduism in one of his Instagram memes, claiming "chaos" happening at present had been "predicted in Hinduism thousands of years ago." He called the current moment of political uncertainty and the pandemic "insanity" and said it was part of an unending pattern.

Rogan offered a typical illustration portraying a cycle in which strong men bring about good times, and good times bring about weak men, who bring about horrible circumstances, which bring about strong men. The meme was shaped like a political compass.

'Predicted in Hinduism thousands of years ago'

"We are in Kali Yuga," Rogan captioned the post. "The age of conflict. All of the chaos we’re seeing right now was predicted in Hinduism thousands of years ago. Civilizations move in predictable cycles, and we are in the lower left hand square of the chart."

Rogan went on to say, "Do your best to elevate yourself and the world around you from the madness that is in the air, but understand that this insanity is all a part of an infinite process."

'Hindus were very smart'

Rogan also discussed "Kali Yuga" on his podcast show with his guest Josh Barnett, a martial artist. Rogan stated that the Hindus were right about the "Kali Yuga" and said, "We are in Kali Yuga... and the Hindus were very smart in their ideas of - it was the Hindus, right Commandos?"

After confirming it with his guest, he continued to say, "They (Hindus) came up with this idea that there are certain ages almost unavoidable of civilization process that they go through these cycles."
