Brynn Whitfield claims 'Vanderpump' rules star Lisa Vanderpump gifted her a Range Rover

MANHATTAN, NEW YORK CITY: The iconic Bravo reality series 'The Real Housewives of New York' returns with a new season and new cast members. Brynn Whitfield was named one of the new Housewives following a Season 13 cast shakeup that saw the whole cast sacked, and now fans want to know more about her.

Season 14 of 'RHONY' adds six new ladies to the show after the whole cast was fired following a turbulent Season 13. 'RHONY' fans will meet six new housewives on Sunday, July 16, 2023: Jessel Taank, Jenna Lyons, Erin Dana Lichy, Ubah Hassan, Sai De Silva, and Brynn. Brynn works in marketing and communications and defines herself as a "trophy wife in training," according to her Bravo bio. Brynn enjoys fashion, as seen by her exquisite outfit of the day photos, in addition to her actual work and side hustle as a trophy wife in the making. Continue reading to find out everything there is to know about Brynn.

Who is Brynn Whitfield?

Aside from becoming the latest 'RHONY' star, Brynn is well-known for her work as a brand marketing and communications specialist. Brynn began her profession after graduating from Purdue University in the late 2000s. Brynn is a "trophy wife in training," thus she is single. Half of the 'RHONY' ladies on Season 14 are not married. Ubah and Jenna Lyons are also single.

Darlene, Brynn's grandma, raised her in the Midwest. Darlene died in the spring of 2021, sadly. Brynn advised people to cherish every moment they have with their loved ones in an Instagram tribute to her grandma following her passing.

"Don’t call your mom today and only chat for a few obligatory minutes. Stay on the phone for as long as you possibly can, maybe even ask her if you can record the conversation. When you talk- Thank her over and over again for being your mom. Tell her you know she did her best, and her best was more than enough- in fact, it was perfect. Thank her for helping you become the person you are today. Tell her that you hope you’re making her proud,” Brynn noted. “Because one day… you will feel how I do today. The day you have to endure your first Mother’s Day without her. Your first Mother’s Day where you can’t call her, you can’t send her a card, you can’t buy her flowers,” she resumed. “And let me to tell you: your heart is going to ache in ways, and in places, and in depths, that you never knew it could.”

Darlene, according to her Bravo description, taught Brynn "invaluable lessons about navigating life, owning her narrative as a bi-racial woman, and the true meaning of hard work."

Brynn hasn't said much about her biracial heritage, but she does remind us of it every now and again when she posts a photo or video of her stunning natural hair on Instagram.

According to her LinkedIn page, Brynn graduated from Purdue University in Indiana with a bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, and advertising with a minor in political science. While at Purdue, she was a member of the student council and the Association for Women in Communications. She went on to study political management at George Washington University after graduation. She has since held a number of positions in her area. During her 15 years in marketing, she has received several major accolades.

Brynn may be spotted doing yoga when she isn't dominating her field or flaunting her current style. She claimed in 2019 that she became a yoga instructor after finishing a 200-hour yoga training course with YogaWorks. Brynn announced her yoga practitioner type, alongside a photo of her certificate. "My teaching style is pretty chill. At Brynn Yoga, we sprinkle in a lot of jokes. We put as much thought in to our playlists as we do our sequencing..Our favorite pose is śavāsana," she added. "We like group hugs, activating that heart chakra … and ALL body types + skill levels are welcome." She also stated that she intended to provide private yoga courses on occasion, but not on a regular basis.

When you've achieved as much success in your work as Brynn, you're sure to have some spare cash. She has flown to St Barth's, Paris, Palm Springs, California, and other destinations in the last year. Brynn is from the Midwest and isn't afraid to venture out into murky water to do some fly-fishing. We may also deduce from her social media activity that she enjoys opera, art, and traveling. During her trips to Instagrammable locations like St Barts and Positano, she poses for photos that would make Instagram influencers jealous, including the occasional thirst trap bikini snap.

'They kept me alive for my first two years in LA'

Brynn recently spoke with Access Hollywood about her surprising connection to the Vanderpump Rules matriarch before the highly anticipated Season 14 launch. Brynn resided in Los Angeles before relocating to New York City. Furthermore, Brynn, who is originally from the Midwest, claims Lisa Vanderpump helped her survive after moving to California.

"Her and Ken [Todd] took care of me, like they fed me when I like had no money, like they were amazing," Brynn said. "I was making no money, and she gave me a place to stay; they basically like gave me a Range Rover, and they’re like, ‘Honey, do you need anything?’ Literally, that was it. Like, insane. They kept me alive for my first two years in LA."

It's no surprise that Brynn became a successful New York City marketing consultant, with pals like Lisa and Ken treating her like fairy godparents. But don't get it twisted: Lisa doesn't just take in stray Los Angeles residents and shower them with a Range Rover. Brynn earlier told Bravo that she and the restauranteur have a long history since her child is close to her. So, when Brynn got the call to join 'RHONY,' she definitely sought guidance from Lisa.

"I talked to Lisa Vanderpump," Brynn said. "She said, be yourself and have fun. Just enjoy it."

Season 14 of 'The Real Housewives of New York City' starts on Bravo on Sunday, July 16, 2023, at 9 PM, and will be available on Peacock the following day.
