NORCROSS, GEORGIA: Charity Lawson is ready to give her rose to one lucky contestant who will win her heart. 'The Bachelorette' is returning with Season 20 featuring Charity, a child and family therapist, who won over fans in Zach Shallcross's season before being eliminated after her hometown date.

The latest season of 'The Bachelorette' will see 25 men compete for Charity's heart. Notably, Season 20 features multiple standout characters, including a professional wrestler, a yacht captain and even a tennis pro. However, among the hopefuls is former football player Kaleb Kim.

Who is Kaleb Kim?

Kaleb Kim is a former football player who currently works as Construction Salesman. Kaleb has been a sports enthusiast since he was young. He always play sports and in eighth grade, he started to get noticed by the football coaches. He was offered to play with 17 and 18-year-old football players, which was a big deal for him. According to Kaleb's profile, the University of Miami at Ohio offered him a full scholarship soon after his freshman football season. Kaleb's first big offer was the University of Tennessee and that is when he realized that football could be that gate to getting his education. Later, Kaleb received an offer from Auburn and he developed an instant connection when he visited the campus. Unfortunately, Kaleb had to spend some time as backup due to a knee injury. But he soon saw his name in the starting lineup on the ribbon board at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in August of 2018. Kim was a four-star offensive tackle out of Mill Creek High School.

Kaleb finished with 17 career starts, starting the first three games of the 2018 season including the Washington season opener. He missed the Outback Bowl in 2019 but made the SEC academic honor roll, as well as the preseason Rimington Trophy and Reese's Senior Bowl watch lists. Kaleb wore number 54 during his Auburn football career. His parents are John and Cindy Kim. Kaleb's father played football at Gardner-Webb. Kaleb originally hails from Buford, Georgia, and attended Mill Creek High School in Hoschton, Georgia. He studied business at AU. He has a blue belt in jujitsu.

Kaleb Kim's knee injury pushes him back from his dreams

Kaleb suffered a devastating knee injury in 2018. Kaleb revealed that a player fell into his right knee and there was a lot of damage which was tough to recover. However, Kaleb had a tough choice to make. He could rehab his knee, stay in pursuit of his NFL dreams and maybe give the 2021 NFL Draft a shot or he could move forward and pursue his professional goal of going into medical sales. Notably, Kaleb had a second injury which almost end his college career. Meanwhile, the pandemic added to his struggles as it shut down the university and forced students to vacate campus. However, Kaleb made the choice to end his collegiate journey and start the job hunt.
