Whoopi Goldberg and Judge Jeanine Pirro spat continues on 'The View' as Goldberg shades Pirro

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The iconic Whoopi Goldberg still has no time for Judge Jeanine Pirro in 2023. The infamous panelist's arch-enemy Jeanine Pirro was addressed during the Thursday, June 22, broadcast of 'The View', leading to Goldberg's ominous statement. The Oscar-winning panel moderator dissed her longstanding rival during Thursday's live Hot Topics discussion as the women of 'The View' addressed journalist Geraldo Rivera's decision to depart Fox News' 'The Five' due to "growing tension."

Goldberg previously lost her cool when arguing with Judge Pirro on an episode of 'The View' in 2018 regarding President Donald J Trump. Pirro chose to employ hard truths against the dynamic group when he was trapped by leftist co-hosts from all sides near the end of the show. She discussed some of the noteworthy accomplishments of the Trump administration, such as the first reduction in the unemployment rate for "minorities, Hispanics, and African Americans" in 50 years.

'I don't care'

The conversation around the show began to wane when cohost Sunny Hostin mentioned that Jeanine Pirro was on it. Goldberg sincerely said, "I don't care," appearing to want to continue with 'The View's Hot Topics segment as she was met with a scream of laughs from the audience, as reported by Entertainment Weekly.

Goldberg's comments on 'The View' didn't seem to affect the women's discussion on Rivera's departure from the Fox News show, which also features Pirro, Greg Gutfeld, Dana Perino, Jesse Watters, and Jessica Tarlov. During the live broadcast, Joy Behar complained, "[Geraldo] has to sit there with Jeanine and the rest of them, it's hard to sit there with these people who are spewing lies every day."

Whoopi Goldberg and Jeanine Pirro spat began in 2018

Four years ago, Goldberg and Pirro got into a heated argument on an episode of 'The View'. Pirro accused Goldberg of having a severe on-air bias because of her outspoken opposition to former president Donald Trump. Pirro later apologized for her remarks. The commotion apparently extended backstage, and as they both revealed on their own networks, they exchanged expletives before Pirro quit the show.

Judge Pirro discussed a few of the noteworthy accomplishments made by the Trump administration. Goldberg, along with co-host Sunny Hostin, did not like it at all and quickly turned to thank former president Barack Obama for any success of the present commander-in-chief. Pirro said at the time on 'The View': "You're suffering from Trump derangement in this room."

The moderator at the time made reference to the altercation that broke out on-air when Pirro claimed Goldberg had "Trump Derangement Syndrome," as well as the one that persisted backstage after the show. Pirro claimed that Goldberg yelled at her, "F*** you, get the F*** out of this building!" during an appearance with her colleague Sean Hannity on the radio.

According to Goldberg, Pirro was "upset when she got here" because Joy Behar, a similarly anti-Trump leftist co-host, had been replaced with Republican strategist Ana Navarro. She added that despite shouting "Say goodbye, I’m done!" to finish the part, she did not cut the interview short. According to Goldberg, "It ended when it was supposed to."

Pirro recalled at the time, "She started cursing at me." Goldberg stated that she "said to her a few choice words I can not repeat." Later, Goldberg dwelt on the subject of Pirro's potential return to the show. In a 2019 'Watch What Happens Live' interview with Andy Cohen, the 67-year-old stated: "I've not spoken to Jeanine. There's no reason to."

'I much preferred you in the movie 'Ghost' than on 'The View'

The spat between the two continues! As was to be expected, Judge Pirro didn't waste any time responding to her heated argument with Goldberg on 'The View'. Pirro sarcastically praised Goldberg at the start of her Fox News episode 'Justice' for assisting in the success of her book in reaching the top of the bestseller list. Pirro snarled, "I much preferred you (Goldberg) in the movie Ghost than on The View." It was in response to Goldberg's previous remark to Pirro, "Jeanine, good luck with your book. I hear it’s No. 1. I preferred your last book about Robert Durst."
