Jake Paul plans to host UK's most significant women's fight after Savannah Marshall's super-middleweight title win against Franchon Crews-Dezurn

CLEVELAND, OHIO: After witnessing Savannah Marshall's victory against Franchon Crews-Dezurn to claim the undisputed super-middleweight title last month, YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul has set his sights on hosting the "most significant women's fight in UK history."

Paul, who is presently training for his forthcoming fight against Nate Diaz this summer, kept an eye on Marshall's victory in Manchester. Mirror Fighting has obtained exclusive confirmation that Paul is willing to make significant promotional efforts if Marshall accepts Shadasia Green's required challenge.

Jake Paul's plans for women's boxing match

Green's booking will be handled by Paul's Most Valuable Promotions, despite concerns that she will be overlooked in favor of a highly anticipated rematch between Marshall and Claressa Shields, both undefeated champions in their own right. Shields, a well-known multiple-weight champion, was in attendance at the title fight on Friday night, which Marshall won by a narrow majority decision.

Paul will come to the United Kingdom to actively promote the fight between Marshall and Green, as he did earlier when his client Amanda Serrano battled Katie Taylor for the undisputed lightweight title in Madison Square Garden. According to Mirror Fighting sources, Paul is looking forward to work with Sky Sports on this event, with the goal of making it the most significant women's bout in UK boxing history. Marshall and Shields currently hold that honor, having captivated the crowd at the O2 in London last October during their middleweight title fight.

Marshall won a majority decision points victory over Dezurn at Manchester's AO Arena to become the undisputed super-middleweight champion. Marshall began slowly, but in a fast-paced match, she landed cleaner, heavier shots. The fight was rated 95-95, 99-92, and 97-93 by the judges. Marshall requested a rematch with Claressa Shields, who was present and active at ringside. The fight was tense and cagey, with both boxers suffocating their opponents.

Marshall defeated Dezurn in the third round, and later found her range and combinations. Marshall awaited a rematch with Shields, the GWOAT, as neither fighter has better pay days. Marshall believes she won't make middleweight but may compete at super-middleweight. Savannah's performance was not spectacular, but the division's lack of depth suggests a shift in strategy.
