Twitch CEO recently accused Pokimane and HasanAbi of spreading misinformation and xQc reacted in shock

AUSTIN, TEXAS: Twitch's CEO, Dan Clancy, recently made a statement accusing streamers Pokimane and HasanAbi of propagating false information. xQc released a video on YouTube after reacting in shock to Clancy's statement during his stream.

xQc, a popular Twitch streamer, has signed a $70 million contract with Kick, a rival streaming platform with an additional $30 million in incentives that can be earned based on certain criteria. The deal could potentially disrupt the online entertainment industry, as xQc has a large following and can attract thousands of viewers.

'What the f**k does this guy think he knows'

xQc read a statement from 'Just Chatting' at the beginning of the video, "CEO of Twitch (Dan) states that Twitch makes no money off of Kick." As he read it, xQc's countenance changed and he yelled, "But Poki and Hasan said that they do."

The CEO's statement clearly shocked the former Twitch streamer. He expressed his trust in HasanAbi by saying, "I will ask Hassan his take on it and whatever he says is the truth." He went on to say, "And then I'll ask Poki what's wrong about it and then we'll have the truth."

xQc is obstinate and chastised Clancy for his disparaging statement. Clacy, as CEO, has little knowledge of the company, according to xQc, "My bad! Sorry CEO, what this guy thinks he's up... what the f**k does this guy think he knows about the company, Jesus"

'Poki being a snake'

xQc's subscribers observed the video and jumped to the various conclusions. A user wrote, "Poki being a snake while tryna have the moral high ground is so hilarious." Another person added a sarcastic statement, commenting, "Of course they're always right.. take even decades to admit they're wrong."

"What!!" exclaimed one user when he learned that HasanAbi and Pokimane may provide misleading information. He continued, "Hassan and poki give false information what! Omg I can’t believe it!" A commentator labelled it as pointless 'drama' saying, "Let's all be honest. It's just drama that fuels both of their career at this point..."

Kick co-founder defends Twitch's profits claim

Ed "Eddie" Craven, co-founder of Kick, defends Pokimane's assertions that Kick uses Twitch's services and that the platform may cease giving services to its competitor. Pokimane said, "Respectfully, people that say stuff like this, you don't understand that Kick makes Twitch money."

She continued, "Like, Kick is using Twitch's services. And, if Twitch really wanted, they could just stop giving these services to Kick. But right now, they're just sitting back like, 'Thanks,' I guess. Honestly, I don't really care that much. Yeah. Well, AWS is Amazon and Twitch is Amazon. So, in a way, it is."

Fans relayed Pokimane's feelings to Craven during a recent stream. In reaction, the latter described it as a "strange" and "uneducated" point of view. He stated, "So, I don't know. If Pokimane reckons that's true then good on Pokimane. Congratulations to her, she thinks that's a good thing."

"But, I think - it's, you know... it's a very strange take, in my opinion. A very strange take! I think it's almost an uneducated take, to be honest with you. I think, typically, people should avoid publicly commenting on stuff they've got no f**king clue about. But, that's just my take. Anyways," Craven added.
