When TikToker Earle and her friends were left stranded after booking an Italian villa that did not exist, she documented it on her TikTok. Airbnb TikTok account quickly commented under Earle's video, "Babes we got you. our people are calling you now."

Fortunately, Airbnb stepped in to help the group by providing them with a villa that overlooks the beautiful Mediterranean Sea. Despite the fact that the scam occurred through a booking portal, it was Airbnb that came to the rescue with a luxurious villa that boasts a steam room, a massage table, and a terrace that overlooks the mesmerizing blue waters. Although it's unclear how much the group spent on the fake rental, they were able to enjoy their vacation thanks to Airbnb's timely intervention.

Earle, a 22-year TikTok Star from Miami, told her 5.3 million TikTok followers how her "girls' trip took a turn" after she and her friends became stranded in Positano. In the first of a series of videos, she claimed the house in Italy they booked online "was a scam." "The house we were supposed to stay at doesn't exist," Earle said. "Our car service canceled, it's midnight and we literally don't know where to go – 11 girls stranded in Positano." On one of Earle's videos, Booking.com posted an apology under the comment section for the mishap. "Hi Alix, we're sorry to hear about your experience. Please reach out to us via Twitter, FB, or Instagram, so our support team can look into this," the comment read.
