'I like men who are fully depressed and miserable but brutally effective and capable,' Andrew Tate wrote in the post

BUCHAREST, ROMANIA: Andrew Tate aka "Top G", a former kickboxer turned influencer who has managed to gain massive fame online through expressing controversial views, recently posted about choosing miserable and depressed people over happy human beings.

Naturally, many of his followers were baffled by the post as the contentious influencer leaves no stone unturned in telling people to better themselves.

Andrew Tate 'absolutely distrusts happy people'

Tate took to X (formerly Twitter) on August 18 to share how he distrusts happy people. He emphasized that "fully depressed and miserable but brutally effective and capable" people were somehow better than incompetent happy men.

"I absolutely distrust happy people. They’re one tragedy away from breakdown and incompetence. I like men who are fully depressed and miserable but brutally effective and capable," wrote Tate, beginning the post.

Tate later opined that life cannot hurt people who are depressed and miserable as they have already gone through so many hardships. "What can happen? It’s already happened? Still operating flawlessly. Life can’t hurt them," added Top G, concluding his take on the topic.

At the time of writing, the post has already amassed over a million views, 2k reposts, and 21.4k likes, alongside thousands of replies.

How did Andrew Tate's followers react to his post on distrusting happy people?

Like in most instances, Andrew Tate's fans were quick to reply to his post, which seemed to have been received well by most of them.

A user wrote, "Patience develops from hardships," while another added, "You can be truly happy and still operate in an enraged fashion harnessing powers of past despairs.

It’s once you achieve this brighter sense of happiness that life can’t hurt you. Im so happy that normal people can’t understand. Sorry but it’s true."

One simply said, "You’re a nerd." "Wise words from this generation's king Solomon," expressed a fan.
