Chris Kamara has shared a heartwarming photo of himself with Ben Shephard following his emotional Good Morning Britain interview where he opened up about living speech apraxia. The former footballer was on the show to discuss his upcoming memoir My Unbelievable Life and his current health condition. Apraxia of speech (AOS) is a neurological disorder and it affects where natural motor functions in the body, causing problems with talking. At one point during the interview, Shephard could be seen giving Kamara a warm hug as the 65-year-old couldn't hold back the tear when discussing how it "doesn't define who you are." Following the interview, Kamara took to Twitter/X to share a wholesome selfie of himself with Shephard as he thanked everyone for their support. "Big thank you to everyone who sent a message to me today, Sorry I was an emotional wreck on @GMB - Would you believe I really am getting through this & @benshephard as you saw is there for me," he wrote. “My apologies to everybody out there who has got a speech condition, because it doesn’t define who you are,” the former footballer said during the interview. “I get upset talking about it, because I was in denial, I was ashamed that I couldn’t speak.” To which Susanna Reid replied: You've nothing to be ashamed of, honestly, let me just take your hand for a second Chris. Honestly, you've done so much to inspire other people." "Ben [Shephard] was behind me coming out and doing the documentary, talking about it. Once I had spoken about it, you get it off your chest, you realise everyone's behind you... family, friends, all with you... no matter what happens," Kamara said of the support he received from Shephard. Shephard told Kamara: "Chris, it doesn't change how we feel about you, you need to understand that." To which Kamara added: "Can I say a big thanks to you, Ben, because none of this would have happened without your help!" ""I want a hug!" Shephard said before getting up from his chair as the pair shared a warm hug. "Laura can you go to the weather or something please, this is very embarrassing [over getting teary live on air]," Shephard said afterwards. Meanwhile, Mahomes has recently become besties with Taylor Swift, who is currently dating Patrick Mahomes' Kansas City Chiefs teammate Travis Kelce. What does all this mean? Well, let's go back to 2016 when Kardashian's ex-husband Kanye West released his song 'Famous' which contained a diss aimed at Swift. The 'Anti-Hero' singer was said to be unhappy with the lyrics but the rapped claimed that she approved them prior to the release only for her to deny it. Kardashian then went ahead and released a Snapchat video where Swift apparently agreed to the lyrics. The feud has gone on for years but most of the disagreement appears to now be between Swift and West with her and Kardashian appearing to now be on better terms. This though hasn't stopped speculating that there might be a potential awkward conflict on the horizon for Mahomes and Swift. Devito is currently starring in the Roundabout Theater Company production I Need That, written by Theresa Rebeck and directed by Moritz von Stuelpnagel. He plays a man named Sam, alongside his real-life daughter Lucy who plays Amelia. He recently sat down with GQ's Gabriella Paiella about the show and his impressive 45-year career. But, attention soon turned to the fact that social media users have given him a very unique recognition outside of his impressive resume. When DeVito was told about his short King status online, the 78-year-old responded: "I like it! I haven't heard the term, but it gives me joy. It lifts me up. Thank you." In 2019, the phrase became popular among social media users to positively describe an attractive man under 5’9”. It comes after an article last year recommended people reproduce with short men to help save the planet. “When you mate with shorter people, you’re potentially saving the planet by shrinking the needs of subsequent generations," Mara Altman writes for The Times. "Lowering the height minimum for prospective partners on your dating profile is a step toward a greener planet." Altman says shorter people are also more viable for successful lineage because they save resources. Azealia Banks has hit out at Troye Sivan in a homophobic rant on social media, all because Sivan complimented her song ‘212’. Sivan was speaking as part of an interview with Spotify when he was asked what his go-to “pre game banger” was, and he said he was a fan of Banks’s 2012 hit. It seemed like Sivan was paying a harmless compliment to the track, but Banks didn’t respond as you might have expected. Instead, she hit out at Sivan and said he didn’t have a “clue” about her experiences in the music industry. “This is these white kids’ weird way of apologizing for bandwagoning. Having no clue of the kind of shit happening to me behind the scenes in the industry,” she wrote. Banks wasn’t finished there either, writing: “I’m not impressed by any of these people (who I’ve never met in person nor had a conversation with me) not having the audacity to be as public and loud with their apology as they were with using their platform to cast judgment as if a singular me was an important social justice issue. “I would REALLY appreciate all of these f*ckin civilian ass bitches to stop mentioning me, stop dancing to my s**t in the club if you’re not going to treat me like a human and take back all the unfounded bullshit you all used ur platforms to perpetuate.” It’s far from the first time Banks has faced criticism after going on a rant on social media, but the slamming of Sivan seemingly came out of knowhere. Bryan Johnson, who has become known as the man who will try anything to stay young, has revealed some unexpected NSFW information about himself - and says he's attempting to be comparable to an 18-year-old. Johnson, 45, pulled out a device while on Steven Bartlett's podcast, and explained by how measuring his night time erections, he can get a good indication of his health. He said that he's currently on two hours 12 minutes per night, however, his goal is to get to the standard of an 18-year-old, which is three hours and 30 minutes. Zac Efron has responded to the apparent rumours that the late Matthew Perry wanted the 36-year-old to play him in a biopic about his life. Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, Perry's friend Athenna Crosby claimed he had told her this the night before his tragic death which was reported to be from an apparent drowning in his hot tub at his Los Angeles home on Oct. 28. "He said that he wanted to make a movie about his life," she said. "He had worked with Zac Efron in the past on a movie, and said he wanted Zac Efron to play him as a younger version and that he was gonna ask him soon to do that." Crosby referred to the comedy film 17 Again both Perry and Efron starred in where they younger and older versions of the same character. Now Efron has since responded to say how he felt feels 'hugely honoured' upon hearing that Perry had mentioned him when thinking of an actor to play himself in his biopic. And appears keen to take on the role. "I'm honoured to hear he was thinking of me to play him. We'll see. I'd be honoured to do it," Efron told PEOPLE the premiere for his new film Iron Claw in Dallas, Texas, before sharing how Perry helped him as a young actor. "He was a mentor to me, and we made a really cool film together. I looked up to him, I learned comedic timing from that guy. "I mean, when we were filming 17 Again, it was so surreal for me to look across and have him be there, because I've learned so much from him, from his whole life." Elsewhere, Perry has previously reference a time where he had wrote a rom-com and wanted Efron to star in it - only for Efron to decline the role. "Well, it was Zac Efron. But he said no. Documentary maker Louis Theroux has responded to Piers Morgan's claims that he could "destroy" him in 30 seconds in a boxing match. This all came about after a clip was shared on X/Twitter of Theroux's upcoming season 2 of Louis Theroux Interviews with the first episode being a chat with heavyweight boxing champion Anthony Joshua, which aired on Wednesday. During the conversation, Joshua proposes that he could promote a fight between Theroux and Piers Morgan. Theroux seems to like the idea of taking on the outspoken TalkTV host and reckons he could "take him" if the fight happened. Morgan wasn't prepared to accept this a responded by saying: "Have you lost your marbles, @louistheroux ? I’d destroy you in 30 seconds, you puny wastrel." This was clearly all in good spirits as 53-year-old Theroux chimed back with: "I don't think you've got the cardio fitness, Piers, TBF. You'd gas out and after that I'd just be playing music on your chin like a boxing Beethoven." Many onlookers backed Theroux to best 58-year-old Morgan in the theoretical contest. Whether this would actually happen remains to be seen but the current trend of celebrity boxing matches featuring the likes of Logan Paul, Jake Paul, KSI and Tommy Fury are undoubtedly popular and bring in millions of viewers. Carol Vorderman has quit her BBC radio show after five years so that she can carry on criticising the Tories. The presenter was on the air with her own radio show on BBC Radio Wales every Saturday morning but a new BBC social media policy otherwise known as the "Lineker clause," where employees at the national broadcaster are limited on what they can post online. Taking to Twitter, Vorderman announced the news where she thanked listeners "who answered the funny questions I asked every week about old memories and daft stories" and teased that she's moving "onwards to the next very interesting chapter." In a longer statement, she said she will "continue to criticise the current UK government for what it has done to the country which I love." Vorderman has often been outspoken against the Tories, for example she called them "morally corrupt” over Partygate, she compared former Prime Minister Boris Johnson to "a dose of diarrhoea," and got into an online spat with Tory MP Lee Anderson. (To name but a few instances). “After five years, I’m leaving my Saturday morning show on BBC Radio Wales," Vorderman began. “The BBC recently introduced new social media guidelines which I respect. However, despite my show being lighthearted with no political content, it was explained to me that as it is a weekly show in my name, the new guidelines would apply to all and any content that I post all year round. “Since those non-negotiable changes to my radio contract were made, I’ve ultimately found that I’m not prepared to lose my voice on social media, change who I am, or lose the ability to express the strong beliefs I hold about the political turmoil this country finds itself in.” “My decision has been to continue to criticise the current UK government for what it has done to the country which I love – and I’m not prepared to stop. I was brought up to fight for what I believe in, and I will carry on. “Consequently I have now breached the new guidelines and BBC Wales management have decided I must leave. We each must make our decisions. “I’m sad to have to leave the wonderful friends I’ve made at Radio Wales. I wish them, and all of our listeners, all the love in the world. We laughed a lot and we will miss each other dearly. But for now, another interesting chapter begins.” The reason why the new BBC social media guidelines are referred to as the "Lineker clause," after Match of the Day presenter Gary Lineker found himself in an impartiality row with the broadcaster over his tweets where he compared UK’s asylum policy to 1930s Germany. Lineker was suspended which sparked a huge act of solidarity amongst BBC Sport staff which saw all sports coverage for that weekend cancelled. The ex-England player was later reinstated after him and the BBC "navigated a way for him [Lineker] to return." "Swatting" has caused an Adin Ross stream to be interrupted, and porn legend-turned-Twitch star Adriana Chechik previously revealed that she’s being so badly swatted, she’s going to have to move house. The adult entertainer previously issued a damning rebuke of “beyond childish” pranksters, who have been blighting her life for months. In a furious tweet, Chechik, 31, explained that the emergency services had been called to her house on 12 separate occasions, as she urged the culprits to “grow up”. “Y’all suck so hard. I’m gonna have to move with this swatting sh*t,” she wrote. Sign up for our free Indy100 weekly newsletter “You are literally taking police who should be helping people and having them swat me? 8x and 4x for firefighters to come is beyond childish.” For the uninitiated, “swatting” refers to a nefarious trend which largely targets streamers like Chechik. It involves a troll finding out their victim’s address or location and then making a hoax phone call to the emergency services, claiming that there’s extreme violence taking place there. The idea is to make the lie sound as urgent and threatening as possible to prompt an armed response – hence “SWAT”. The perpetrator then keeps their fingers crossed that the police will raid the home during the streamer’s broadcast so that they can watch the dramatic action unfold live on camera. And whilst some would argue that swatting is just an elaborate prank, most will tell you it is, in fact, a dangerous crime that puts lives at risk. In one high-profile instance back in 2019, a teenage Call of Duty player swatted an opponent after losing a game. Police showed up at the wrong address, then shot and killed a totally innocent father-of-two. It is also, as Chechik pointed out in her tweet, a complete waste of the emergency services’ time, that should be dedicated to legitimate crises. One of the most horrific aspects of the 32-year-old’s plight is that she was attacked by swatters even as she recovered from a near-life-threatening injury. In October last year, she broke her back in two places after jumping into a foam pit at TwitchCon, San Diego, which left her facing months of surgery and gruelling rehabilitation. She also lost her unborn child as a result of the accident – later revealing that, unbeknownst to her, she was pregnant at the time. And yet, some of her followers – who seem unfamiliar with the very concept of human decency – decided it would be fun to ambush her. In December, as Chechik lay bedbound, she tweeted: “Tell me how some internet trolls are gonna swat a person whose back is still healing from being broken. Some twitch chatters are a whole different breed of small d**k idiots. “The cops know me now. We legit talk about our life because this happens so much.” Based on her latest complaint, the situation has only escalated since then. But, at least, she suggested action is being taken to find those responsible. One of her fans responded to her tweet, saying: “Moving I think would only give you a brief respite from the bampots, and then it would start again. Time to get a lawyer and PI involved and start to sue the c**p out of both the city for having inadequate response to being repeat called and the people calling them on you.” Chechik replied simply: “[Already on it!!]” Of course, this is not a game, but we hope she nails those swatters once and for all.
