Lee Mack is facing backlash after making a joke about former Lioness Jill Scott during his speech at last night's NTAs (5 September). The comedian won the category for Quiz Game Show for The 1% Club, when Scott handed him his trophy. "To receive a sex toy like this off Jill Scott is an absolute pleasure", as the audience laughed in response. However, some viewers have complained, branding the joke 'cheap' and 'inappropriate'. Piers Morgan has admitted he had a 'great night' after being booed by the crowd at the National Television Awards. He had been nominated for his TalkTV show, Piers Morgan Uncensored, however, the audience didn't seem to be on board when his name got called out. “Got mocked by a host I’ve never heard of…Got booed by an audience of shrieking banshees…Got beaten by Graham bloody Norton..And now getting the first limo I can find to get the hell outta here", Morgan tweeted after the event. The trailer has been released for Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget, 20 years after the original hit film came out. Set to stream on Netflix from 15 December, the sequel follows fan favourites including Rocky and Ginger, as they try to break into a farm, rather than out. “For Ginger and her team, even if it means putting their own hard-won freedom at risk – this time, they’re breaking in!” an official logline says. Kenan and Kel's Good Burger 2 finally has a teaser trailer, 26 years after the original movie was released. The beloved comedy film based off the TV show was released in 1996, and the new version coming to Paramount+ follows a similar storyline. In the nostalgic sequel, Dexter reunites with his co-worker Ed at their old workplace, Good Burger, when things turn a little chaotic once again, with a new crew to manage. The man who inspired film, The Blind Side, is taking his foster parents to court, after he alleges they 'tricked' him into signing a conservatorship agreement. Michael Oher, who used to be an NFL player, was fostered by the Tuohy family, and alleges they had profited from his misfortune. He also recently discovered they'd never 'officially adopted' him. The 2009 film earned Sandra Bullock an Oscar for her portrayal as Leigh Anne Tuohy and co-starred Tim McGraw as her husband, Sean, alongside Quinton Aaron as Oher. Ed Sheeran got a brutal grilling when he went to work on a Chicago hot dog truck that's known for their Karen's diner-inspired insults. The 32-year-old joined The Wieners Circle where he served up food to screaming fans who had been to his concert. “We’re gonna have Ed Sheeran here at the motherf****** Wiener’s Circle and I’m gonna teach that w***** how to make a f****** hot dog", one employee shouts. The cast of iCarly have been spotted on the SAG-AFTRA picket line amid ongoing actors' strikes, and even treated fans to a sing-along of the show's iconic theme tune. Jaidyn Triplett could be seen filming herself singing 'Leave It All To Me', while the likes of Miranda Cosgrove, Jerry Trainor and Nathan Kress dance behind her. Lizzie McGuire fans have been left thrilled after Hilary Duff appeared to revive her iconic character while standing out on the picket line of the Hollywood actors' strike. She was joined by her How I Met Your Father costar Francia Raisa as they hit the SAG picket line outside of Paramount Studios. The 35-year-old held up a placard, as her song from the 2003 movie 'What Dreams Are Made Of' blared out, and they chanted along. A Lizzie McGuire reboot was on its way until it got halted in 2020. Star of The Inbetweeners James Buckley has revealed there's one major factor holding him back from ever doing a reboot of the hilarious comedy show. The actor appeared on Big Fish podcast, where he admitted 35-year-old him would not pass as being a teen. "Look at a state of me, look how old and haggard I am, and I'm the youngest out of the boys", he jokes, having previously said no amount of money could tempt him back. "You know, lot of people still ask if there's going to be some more Inbetweeners, and my answer is always the same." However, he'd love to work on another project alongside his old castmates. David Corenswet and Rachel Brosnahan have been cast as Superman and Lois Lane respectively, in the new Superman: Legacy beating six other actors to the iconic roles. The duo will play the DC Comic characters in James Gunn's new film taking over the mantle last played on screen by Henry Cavill and Amy Adams. On Twitter Gunn wrote: "They are not only both incredible actors, but also wonderful people." The role of Superman and Clark Kent will by Corenswet's first major lead part in a movie having previously appeared in Pearl and the HBO series We Own This City. Despite the pair being relatively unknown to wider audiences their casting was amazingly predicted way back in December 2020 by one keen comic book fan. On December 1 2020, Kunal B wrote: "A #Superman reboot starring David Corenswet as Superman, and Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane. Let it be linked to Matt Reeves Batman franchise (not directly, just in the same universe)." The tweet has resurfaced following the news about Corenswet and Brosnahan and needless to say, people are impressed. "F**king impressive," one person wrote in response. Another added: "Bro seeing into the future." A third person asked him to: "now do James Bond." A fourth said: "You’re definitely a time traveler." The niece of Tom Hanks has officially cemented her place in Hollywood for all the wrong reasons - namely, a reality TV show meltdown for the history books. Carly Reeves appeared on Claim To Fame, where she was outed in the first episode by another contestant who recognised the clue of a park bench. She didn't take it well, however, storming out of the studio screaming. “I didn't even get to do any challenges. I don’t deserve this. I should have more camera time. Footage has resurfaced of Phillip Schofield's first-ever This Morning appearance, following the news he would be stepping away from his long-standing role on the show. The host sat alongside Caron Keating in 1998, sporting dark brunette hair, but his same witty sense of humour. Schofield 'mutually agreed' with ITV to step down with 'immediate effect' last week following an alleged rift between him and co-star, Holly Willoughby.
