Laura Woods says she gets asked very strange questions whenever people see her feet
Laura Woods is one of the best in the game when it comes to presenting live sport, but she’s had to put up with a lot of nonsense from viewers over the years. The 35-year-old has said she receives strange questions from time to time – and most of them relate to her feet. Woods spoke about the fact that the most bizarre DMs she receives from fans always tend to arrive after her feet are seen on Instagram or during a live broadcast. Appearing on Sam Thompson and Pete Wicks’ podcast Staying Relevant, Woods said: "Every time I have no shoes on in a photo, the amount of people that say I've got boat feet. Sign up to our free Indy100 weekly newsletter "They're a size seven which is a UK average for a woman by the way. [I get] 'How big are your f***ing boats?' And I'm like ‘they're not that big.’" Woods even has her own profile on Wikifeet - a website for celebrity foot fetishists - which fans have put together using pictures from her social media pages. Woods isn’t afraid to respond to fans, either. "I've replied a couple of times [to negative messages] about people's manhood... but it's only ever a retaliation,” she said. "I never understand when people say, 'Oh but you can't say that'. Am I a sitting duck? Just because I'm a broadcaster, you're allowed to say anything you want about me and as soon as I reply - and I will win, like I'm very stubborn about things like that - I will f***ing fight to the death." Meanwhile, Woods got more than she bargained for during a recent radio phone-in, after a Premier League star admitted he had a crush on her live on air. Have your say in our news democracy. Kylie Minogue accused of being an 'illuminati puppet' by conspiracy theorists
Conspiracy theorists believe that Kylie Minogue is being used as an "Illuminati puppet" after making a comeback with her new single, 'Padam Padam'. The run-up to her 16th album Tension has already caused a storm among theorists, who believe there's more to the so-called symbolism than meets the eye. The album cover shows the 55-year-old holding a diamond up to one of her eyes. A pose that many conspiracy theorists believe is associated with the Illuminati. Sign up for our free Indy100 weekly newsletter Of course, there is no evidence that the Australian popstar worships the devil – but they ran with it anyway. Some Twitter users lost their minds over the cover, with one passionate user writing: "I loved Kylie Minogue I made excuses for her, but her latest album is in-your-face Illuminati symbolism from one-eye cover to dancing in devil red on the debris of Western Civilization in the 'Padam Padam' video. Looking back, it was there from the start, on 'I Should Be So Lucky'". Another added: "Oh dear! So the illuminati has a new toy puppet, and she’s a pop princess! Caution lovers. Be kind, enjoy her music but don’t be led. Your choice is free." Many more poked fun at the claims, with one tagging the star herself, writing: "Love the song. Sucks you’re getting slammed for being Satanic. Like? Aren’t we all? Illuminati is soooo 2006." Meanwhile, a third person joked: "If Kylie Minogue was really part of the Illuminati then she would get the respect that she deserves." Kylie Minogue - Padam Padam (Official Video) www.youtube.com Illuminati claims are nothing new, with the likes of Beyonce and Sam Smith being tarnished with the same brush. Even the Church of Satan believes social media is getting out of hand, with Bill M saying he "can't believe the holy-rollers keep taking the bait," describing them as "so passé" to Indy100. "I really have no idea where these Illuminati believers are getting their information on 'Satanism' and 'Satanic ritual' from," the Magister of the Church of Satan said. "It's certainly not from any actual Satanic literature." Have your say in our news democracy. Click the upvote icon at the top of the page to help raise this article through the indy100 rankings.

Jake Paul vows to beat up Conor McGregor in intense rant at UFC star
Jake Paul and Conor McGregor have reignited their feud, with the YouTuber claiming that he will ‘beat up’ the former UFC champion if they go head to head. Paul has gone 6-1 as a professional boxer in recent years, while McGregor is due to return to the Octagon later this year to fight Michael Chandler. Paul and McGregor have long traded barbs, however, and the latter called the American a ‘donkey’ this week. Paul, 26, was quick to respond to the Irishman, addressing McGregor’s comment while speaking on Impaulsive – a podcast hosted by his brother Logan Paul – on Wednesday (31 May). “I think Conor McGregor is funny as f***,” Paul said, “but when I watch him talk s*** about me, I’m like: ‘Guess what, Conor? I’ll beat the f*** out of you.’” Paul went on to mention his upcoming boxing match with Nate Diaz, with whom McGregor traded wins in the UFC in 2017. “You can’t box as good as me, and I’m gonna do to Nate what you couldn’t, which is knock him out,” Paul said. “You’re gonna be sitting there with your new beer company, which is failing, realising that you p****d your life away. You’re gonna say, ‘Damn, I really thought no one was gonna do what I did in this sport, I really thought no one was gonna be as big of a name, I really thought I was gonna be the biggest forever.’ “But you can’t have both lives; you can’t have the fun, party life and be the greatest fighter in the world, and you chose the wrong path. But that money fight will always be there, and when I knock Nate Diaz the f*** out and you realise I’m the biggest fight for you, call me.” While Paul vs Diaz is set for 5 August in Dallas, McGregor vs Chandler is still without a date, location and weight class. McGregor, 34, and Chandler are serving as opposing coaches on the new season of The Ultimate Fighter, which began airing on Tuesday (30 May). At the end of the first episode, one of McGregor’s team members was knocked out within eight seconds. In May, a new documentary about McGregor’s career was released on Netflix. McGregor Forever is a four-part series covering the former champion’s fights with Khabib Nurmagomedov and Donald Cerrone, and his back-to-back bouts with Dustin Poirier in 2021. Kendall Jenner continues naked dress trend with topless illusion
Kendall Jenner has stunned the internet with a modern twist on the classic little black dress. In a string of posts to her Instagram Stories, the supermodel continued the 'naked dress' trend with a glamorous David Koma mini dress – fresh off the runway. The staple piece gives the illusion of Jenner being topless, when in fact, there is a delicate neckline with two petals attached to her chest. Sign up for our free Indy100 weekly newsletter The 27-year-old's post was soon shared to Twitter where people flooded the photo with praise. "Mother is MOTHERING," one fan wrote, while another added: "Kendall Jenner the woman you are." A third wrote: "The Kendall Jenner SERVE." It comes after she and rumoured romance Bad Bunny became an instant internet meme when the pair were spotted at Game 6 of the Western Conference semifinals between the LA Lakers and the Golden State Warriors in Los Angeles last month. During the game attention turned to their interaction at the game which some have called an ick "personified." While it's unclear what the rapper whispered to the reality star, her face said it all. The footage passed over to TikTok, where users attempted to lip-read their conversation. One viral clip by @maferdioses1 suggested Bad Bunny said: "Do you wanna go home after the game, you and me, is that possible or not?" The TikToker then believes Jenner responded: "We can do whatever." @maferdioses1 I think that’s what he’s saying, just like benito talks, sloooowly #badbunny #kendalljenner #kardashians #lipreading #celebrities One fellow TikToker commented: "Out of all the others I saw I think you are right." Meanwhile, another user suggested: "He's asking about dropping her friend off after the game (girl next to her) and Kendall says we can drive her." Have your say in our news democracy.
