Ainsley Earhardt was married to Will Proctor from 2012 to 2019

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: If you are a frequent viewer of the show 'Fox & Friends,' you probably know a lot about host Ainsley Earhardt. While she is actively involved in expressing opinions on world political issues, little is known about her personal life, as she keeps it away from work and the public eye.

The 46-year-old host has also managed to keep talk of her recent divorce from her second husband Will Proctor away from the public eye. At the time, the divorce announcement still caused a mild controversy when both of them commented on it.

Who is Will Proctor?

Proctor did not first come to fame when he was associated with the Fox News star. He has had his fair share of popularity for being involved in college sports. As part of Clemson University, he represented the Clemson Tigers as their starting quarterback. He was celebrated in the college football scene when he actively played around the years 2003 until 2008. He eventually got signed by the Calgary Stampeders until his retirement from the sport in 2008.

Proctor attended the Winter Park Trinity Prep school as he hailed from Winter Park, Florida. After moving on from football, he switched his career to finance. He has been the Head of Sponsor coverage and a Managing Director at Neuberger Berman, where he's been working for the past decade. Ever since he separated from Earhardt, he has been living his life away from the public eye and not much is known about his private life now.

Why did Ainsley Earhardt and Will Proctor separate?

Earhardt and Proctor married in 2012, three years after she separated from her first husband, Kevin McKinney. Earhardt also gave birth to a daughter, Hayden, in 2015.

In 2018, it was Proctor who had filed for divorce, soon after Earhardt had announced their separation. The proceedings were held at the Manhattan Supreme Court. The 'Fox & Friends' host had previously cited infidelity on Proctor's part as the reason for their separation. This was later denied by her now ex-husband in an official statement. "There is not one ounce of truth to the allegations that I had an affair," he had told The Daily Mail.

The two decided to co-parent their daughter in the end, when the divorce was finalized in 2019. They also decided to live close to each other in New York City so it is convenient for them to take care of their child. "We're focusing on moving ahead and raising our daughter," Earhardt told People in 2019, "We honestly wish each other nothing but the best, and we will remain friends for the rest of our lives because we share this precious, beautiful daughter together. She is our top priority," she added.
